Best Friends Day

  • There are many reasons why one should celebrate Best Friends Day every year. The day was first celebrated in the United States back in 1938 with a football picnic and football game. The breeze's purpose was to comfort the friends and families of the fallen soldiers who had been fighting in World War II. In the UK, they have designated the fourth week of July as Armistice Day in recognition of the end of World War 1. As a way to recognise those who have lost their lives fighting for their country, various events are held all over the world on this date to remember those who have fallen while helping out their country's fight against enemies.
