Siltbreeze en los 90 reunieron un gran selección de nombres. Lo de ahora infunde respeto pero no se acerca a lo de entonces. Los de Siltbreeze tienen la culpa de todo el revival lo-fi.
No está nada mal el último número del Wire, siempre a tono: El reportaje de música africana, las radio-ballads, las críticas...me quería poner con bastantes cosas y una semana más tarde aún no he empezado con nada. No hay tiempo. Por cierto, ¿te refieres a la reseña de Harry Pussy, no?

yo de siltbreeze era bastante ignorante hasta este verano pasado, que estuve hablando con un músico americano que me dijo que era su sello noise favorito y me picó la curiosidad. una vez más: god bless the internet!tema wire: yo antes me la pillaba de vez en cuando porque me desanimaba no controlar el 80% de las referencias, era rollo agonía de no poder abarcarlo todo. ahora en cambio es al revés, me gusta ir descubriendo cosas a partir de sus artículos. son como un buen camarero que te guía en medio de un grandioso buffet libre. los mejores con una diferencia abismal.
supongo que mis gustos poco a poco se han ido acercando más al del lector medio de wire, para bien y para mal. -
Hace un par de años conocía a Harry Pussy y a the Dead C, ya que me los recomendó fervientemente un amigo, pero no fue hasta que empecé a buscar información sobre Times New Viking a principios de este año que me di cuenta de la importancia de Siltbreeze. Llevaban en asueto durante años hasta que cogieron al trío. Luego, a principios de año investigué y ya vinieron Factums, the Shadow Ring, Der TPK…Por cierto, su jefe tiene un blog que creo que hará las delicias de Pelukini y demás adictos al lo-fi: http://siltblog.blogspot.com/
Al hilo de Harry Pussy, se creó esta web hace unos meses (http://harrypussyisaband.com/) que fue un auténtico caos porque pensé que quizás sí se habían reunido. Luego se vió que era sólo para el disco y, además, semi-recopilatorio. Jaja, me acuerdo ahora de que cuando puse la dirección en el foro Bodeiro me preguntó que si era mi grupo. Y tu mismo le respondiste que "ya le gustaría..." y link de wikipedia al canto. Con perspectiva, tiene su guasa.
Al principio no pillaba una mierda, ahora sigo sin controlar mucho de lo que ponen pero estoy suscrito -sale mucho más barata- y pienso que, hoy en día, es la única revista que vale la pena sí o sí. Las demás son complementarias, si se quiere. De acuerdo contigo.

Estoy dando un repasito a los discos de este 2008, y tengo la piel de gallina y los ojos llorosos escuchando el Litany of Echoes de James Blackshaw, Jöse igual estamos solos pero creo que lo voy a meter en mi top, se lo merece, ya desde su concierto en el centre de cultura me cautivó.
