joder, estoy fatal de modelnez este año. De las 10 primeras he escuchado 3 y una de ellas no me gusta.
Viendo la lista se ve claro por donde van a ir los tiros de los discos del año, fleet foxes, M83, Hercules, Vampire weekend, santogold, deerhunter, hot chip… pichiflor sound, vamos.

la de hot chip es de mis preferidas del año, y uno de mis discos del año también, no es top 5 pero es de los que más me ha gustado.

Hay cosas muy chungas en estas listas de periodistas americanos de Moz. Por cierto, echando un vistazo a la penúltima de ellas, y sin ser un gran fan, diría que el "Underachievers…" de Camera Obscura es de hace bastantes años, ¿no?

sí, pero a EEUU ha llegado este año. A la inversa (talvez no con tantos años de diferencia) también ocurre lo mismo. Hay bastantes discos en mi lista del 2008 que realmente son del 2007.

Lo que no entiendo es como Tom Waits dio luz verde para publicar semejante patraña…
Eso mismo lo llega a sacar Violet McKenzie o Carla Russom (dos nombres que se me acaban de ocurrir) y ni siquiera habría llegado a un 2% de la gente a la que sí le ha llegado este. Es malo malo malo.

Ya ya… acostumbra a pasar de un año para otro, pero acabo de buscarlo y se publicó por aquí en 2003. Podría haber habido una Guerra Mundial entre medio. Cinco años estando la música como está hoy en día son suficientes para pasar a llamar post-punk al punk.

Aquí en 2003 porque fue Elefant quien fichó al grupo. En Europa vía otro sello fue más tarde creo.
