      Dos momentos personales vinculados a Michael Jackson:

      • Nochevieja del 82. En casa con la familia, aún no teniamos edad de salir. TVE estrena 'Thriller' versión entera. Nuestro tío, un hombre de orden, llama a Prado del Rey para quejarse de que den "eso tan desagradable" en una velada que se presupone familiar.

      . 1997: Coincidiendo con la salida de 'Blood on the dance floor' y luchando para enderezar un romance que amenazaba hundimiento, los De Boer arramblamos conla discografía entera de Jacko y se la regalamos a la interfecta, una fan. Y no, no es una historia con final feliz.

                @30segundossobreTokyo:cg6brj7o:

                Marniello tiene más razón que un santo.

                Hoy, 26 de junio de 2009, es un día muy triste para todos esos buitres e hipoputas, con carnet algunos de periodistas, que durante años han tenido a Jacko como su punching bag universal, el muñeco patoso y absurdo con el cual meterse sin tener que dar ni explicaciones, ni excusas ni mostrar el más mínimo interés por saber cómo era realmente (el pobre Jacko era uno de los hombres más misteriosos de la tierra, y no creo que eso lo hiciera especialmente feliz). Hoy se les acabó el chollo, aunque intenten arrástrarlo un poco más hasta que el cadáver, el mismo que no han dudado en mostrar en una fotografía, quede tieso y frio del todo. Incluso palurdos titulados como los de DEC o los de La Noria tendrán la “deferencia” de dedicarle unos minutos (no mucho, esto es España amigos y aquí lo que manda es Pipi Estrada) a tan sonado suceso.
                Pero lo peor para ellos es que hoy, 26 de junio de 2009, ha nacido algo que con lo que no pueden enfrentarse. Nunca han podido con ello. Contra el mito popular y el amor incondicional que una y otra vez le han demostrado millones de personas en cualquier lugar del mundo. Contra ello siempre se han dado de hostias y la cosa está tan llena de ejemplos que darlos sería inútil. Sus gilipolleces día a día se harán más pequeñas, pero Jacko crecerá cada día más, tan solo con tararear algunas de sus canciones ya crecerá algunos centímetros. Y tendrán que buscarse otro personaje mundial al cual despreciar, reírse, vapular y vilipendiar. Un personaje al que no les importe una mierda tratar de averiguar el por qué de su carácter, de sus decisiones, de su arte ( el arte…..qué coño les importa eso a ellos si ni siquiera les gusta, solo les mola OT). Y eso cuesta un montón, no es fácil ponerlos a todos de acuerdo.
                Realmente, este es uno de esos casos donde uno puede decir sin temor a equivocarse que, por fin, Michael Jackson va a poder descansar en paz. Feliz estancia en Neverland. Los que crecimos cuando estabas con tus hermanos y nos asombramos con tus dos grandes obras sabemos que ahora estas bailando el Moonwalk como nunca. Tu tan contento y nosotros solos con estos cabrones.

                Creo que este es uno de los mejores posts que he leído jamás en este foro. Muchos aquí escriben para quedar bien, lucirse y hacerse los interesantes. Otros escriben de corazón y la diferencia es abismal. Bravo.

                  Antes de ayer nos dejaba, Fayette Pinkney, als 61 anys.
                  Su banda, The Three Degrees, prcticaban un interesante Soul.

                  Por otra parte, la cantante irlandesa, Rita Keane, y el mítico cantante de pop canadiense, Terry Black, murieron ayer.
                  Justamente, respecto a Terry Black, hace poco encontré un libro que explicaba su importancia para la evolución del rock y el pop en Canada. Muy comercial, pero interesante

                    Pina Bausch

                    @1ldivl27:

                    Pina Bausch, 1940-2009
                    We have lost dance's most visionary, influential figure, who redrew the map of the theatre arts

                    A simple note on the Wuppertal Dance Theatre's website says it: this morning, 30 June, Pina Bausch died, aged 68 – quickly, after a cancer diagnosis five days ago. Only two Sundays ago, she appeared on stage at the Wuppertaler Opernhaus.

                    This is an appalling shock and a tragedy not only for the dance world, but also for the entire international arts world. Bausch's visionary work as dancer, choreographer and creator of the Tanztheater Wuppertal had a reach way, way beyond the confines of the German town where she worked. Theatre and opera simply wouldn't look the way they do today without Bausch; she has also had an enormous influence on visual art and cinema, too (Almodóvar's Talk to Her contains sequences of her work). I can't count the number of times I've seen work that either pays tribute – or cheaply rips off – Bausch's subversive, distinctive choreographic creations. Subtley but clearly, she redrew the map for the theatre arts.

                    The official tributes and obituaries will pour in. As a personal response – not as an expert in contemporary dance, simply as an enthusiastic member of the audience – I will be grieving for the loss of the most original voice in dance today. More than that, every performance that one saw (and her relatively rare appearances in London were instant sellouts, usually attended by a cultish, extraordinarily chic audience almost as watchable as her shows) was an event that left one emotionally changed, whether drained or elated or touched by an unspeakable beauty.

                    Instant memories – the dirt and sheer savagery of her early work Rite of Spring, brought to Sadler's Wells last February, which left me pinned to my seat with terror. The same programme brought Cafe Müller - a classic work recalling her childhood memories of her parents' cafe, was confusing, troubling, strange, obsessional, wistful. Kontakthof, brought to the Barbican in 2002, was a deeply moving piece that was performed by dancers in their 60s and 70s, forcing the audience to confront prejudices and fears about old age. Then the sheer beauty of Nelken, in which the stage is covered by thousands of carnations. Or Nefes, her late, Turkish-inspired work, in which the anguish and frustration expressed in earlier pieces was exchanged for something more (but never simply or unambiguously) joyous. A trademark was the way she asked her dancers to express not just the purity of their bodily movements, but their inner vulnerabilites, sometimes anger.

                    Watching a work by Bausch was never less than a dangerous, and profoundly fulfilling, experience. We will all mourn her. (the guardian)

                    Pina Bausch siempre ha sido todo emoción.

                      Pues si. Una de las grandes artístas del siglo XX y responsable de la evolución de la danza contemporánea en el último tercio del siglo. Afortunadamente, deja herederos y una gran escuela. Hay Bausch para rato.

                                    Ví unos 30 minutos y si no hubiera sido por tener curro que hacer, me hubiera quedado a ver más. La traducción de Cuatro fue de juzgado de guardia, así que en un corte publicitario me pasé a CNN+ y ví cosas que los de Cuatro no emitieron por el prolongado corte.
                                    Stevie Wonder estuvo tremendo….tremendo....tremendo
                                    Y pensar que hay gente que cuestiona ese acto. Si se hubiera producido un funeral íntimo, hubieran dicho que querian esconderse o vete tú a saber que gilipollez por el estilo.
                                    Lo que relamente me pareció absolutamente surrealista es ver a Nieves Herrero hablando de Jackson en el programa de ayer tarde en A3. Ya ves, una que estuvo 10 minutos en una cuchipanda promocional con el y es capaz de hablar del tema.

                                        Stevie Wonder me puso el vello de punta.
                                        Brooke Shields también me puso erecto.
                                        Está guapa como nunca.

                                        Me sobró el último cantante y su sollozo final.
                                        También el We are the world, aunque me
                                        emocionó oír Heal the world, que hacía tanto
                                        no escuchaba. El hijo mayor de Jackson va a
                                        ser un pieza de cuidado. Tiene mucho peligro,
                                        y la mirada del tigre.

                                        Hondonadas de hostias a todos los comentaristas.
