En otro estilo, el que probablemte de momento será mi disco de electrónica del año. Es un español se llama Hector Sandoval aunque ahora este proyecto venga firmado como Komatsu. Héctor tb es conocido por se la mitad de los horribles Exium y parte de Lego My Ego (orientado hacia el hip hop).
Bueno pues en esta nueva referencia se ha marcado una coleccion de canciones que les patean en el culo a los últimos trabajos de Holden, Fake y demás.
Ya presento este proyecto en el LEV del año pasado. Algunos amigos que lo vieron lo nombran como uno de los mejores lives de sus vidas (y se han comido alguno que otro)

self-titled debut with Machine Dreams, a new album for Peacefrog on
August 17.

According to vocalist Yukimi Nagano, "these days, humans seem more and
more like machines, and as technology evolves, machines feel more human
and it becomes fuzzy and beautiful and science fiction-ish. We feel
dependent on our machines to create and live, and their sounds reflect
us". So we guess you can expect a movement towards a more electronic
sound. Their first album was one of 2007's most underrated
full-lengths; a slick Portishead-indebted pop number featuring one of
the year's highlights in 'Test'. They were also pretty ace when we
caught them at Sonar last summer.

EP de debut de Maurici Ribera A.K.A. The Missing Leech. Una obra de 5 temas inéditos y variados, en su mayoría de antifolk y folk punk, que preceden al disco que saldrá en setiembre; mucho más completo.
Todos los temas fueron grabados en directo en el estudio y 2 con Anímic como banda de acompañamiento.

Pues nada, veo que soy el primero en felicitarte por el EP. Me está gustando mucho, tanto por las cuatro canciones como por la producción, que se adapta perfectanente al tipo de canciones. Has conseguido un muy buen equilibrio entre calidad instrumental y ese aire naïf y fresco que tiene tu música. La letra de "This is the story…" muy divertida. "And then back home in Sant Joan I went to record with Anímic in Collbató". Sensacional. Enhorabuena y estaremos esperando el LP creo que para septiembre.

Summer is no myth. It exists year round on Holiday Shores Ct - a two-block stretch on the Florida panhandle where twenty-one year old Nathan Pemberton grew up. It's no more than five minutes from white sand beaches, squawks of seagulls, and wafting smells of suntan lotion.
