La verdad que si, esta quedando un cartel de cojones, vistas el ritmo de las primeras confirmaciones tenía toda la pinta.

Me voy a quitar la espinita de The Mountain Goats y volver a ver a Sebadoh en distancias cortas, sabemos de que pie calzan en directo pero espero quitarme el mal sabor de boca que me dejaron en el PS

Mañana hago crónica del IBYM. Ha sido tan grande que necesito asimilar antes de escribir. Solo adelanto que The Books son más grandes que la vida y que sus conciertos deberían de estar considerados como la mejor formula antibajona existencial del mundo. De repente todo fue bonito, hasta que llegó Gira… pero eso ya lo cuento mañana...

Yo estuve el domingo y se me cayeron los cojones al suelo con Swans, pero Grinderman no le anduvo a la zaja, vi a mucha gente tapandose los oidos de dolor. Y Portishead para mi sublimes, aunque debieron repetir setlist los dos dias (creo que fue el mismo del primavera).

Me sorprendio la educacion de la gente de seguridad, eso si, aquello parecia la prueba del laberinto de humor amarillo, te dejaban salir por una puerta, a la media hora ibas a volver a salir por el mismo sitio y habian cambiado la ruta de salida, así toda el dia. El sitio, Alexandra Palace, me pareció una jodida maravilla, y sonaba de lujo.

Yo ambos dias, organización casi perfecta para ser su primera vez en el recinto, sonido perfecto en todos los directos. Grandes Telescopes, deberian echarles el ojo por aqui para el año que viene

PUBLIC ENEMY (PERFORMING ‘FEAR OF A BLACK PLANET’, COMPANY FLOW + MORE CONFIRMED AND JEFF MANGUM WEEKEND TICKETS AVAILABLE

All Tomorrow’s Parties are returning to the USA next month, hosting the festival in the new location of Asbury Park, New Jersey. This will be the US’s first edition of I’ll Be Your Mirror, ATP’s sister event that has currently been held in Japan and the UK. This edition will be curated and headlined on the Saturday and Sunday by Portishead, who will be playing their first shows on the East Coast since 1998.

We can now announce the fantastic new additions of Public Enemy performing ‘Fear Of A Black Planet’ and Company Flow to the line up for the Sunday, as well as the addition to the Saturday line up of Thought Forms.

There will also be the inclusion of a literary stage on the Sunday, hosted by Lapham's Quarterly and exploring the theme of "The Future" more details are below.

As part of the event, Jeff Mangum will be playing two shows at the festival, one on Friday evening and one on Sunday evening. Access to these shows only with specific weekend tickets, not individual day tickets, see below for details.

Three Day Jeff Mangum Sunday Passes ($249 - access to all 3 days including Sunday night Jeff Mangum performance, and guaranteed to one Portishead performance – Sat or Sun)

Yo el otro día me entretuve en contar y en el ATP de diciembre del año pasado había más de 50 grupos y este año llevamos unos 35…si los que faltan siguen por esa línea va a doler de placer.

Para los que sabéis del tema, los curators realmente eligen las bandas o es más una cuestión de marketing? Porque si es así vaya buen gusto que tiene el amigo Mangum.
