Sí claro, no futis, aunque he de decirte que yo ya estoy un poco mayor como para estar rodeado de 18 añeros empastillados hasta las orejas. (85% de españoles e italianos, campo de nabos).
Prefiero las warehouses, o las fiestas locas de las cocheras de de London Bridge, si se trata de liarla, you know.
Lo que ya está bien es que no hayas venido un finde con Luis y nos hayamos ido a quemar la puta ciudad.
Y yo también estoy mayor para eso, la verdad. Lo decía por el sonido, sobretodo en la sala esa oscura pequeñaja. Yo sólo estuve una vez que fuimos de casualidad porque Rafa vivía al lado; entramos a las 4:30 que pagas la mitad y casualmente estaba pinchando Robert Hood, fue como volver a principios de los años 2000. Que divertido! Y no se veía nada, así que no se si era un campo de navos y si estaba lleno de niñatos, pero me daba igual.

Pues oigan, si quieren, yo voy a ir con algunos colegas casi seguro y advent creo que tambien se apunta, Barcelona-Milan/Malpenza 42 papis en Easyjet ida y vuelta, bus 30 euros hasta Turín que es una horita y luego allí apartamento 60 pavos la noche he visto, y nos metemos los que vayamos, precio de ganga.

YYU is preoccupied with time. The looping and sampling musician used it in the title of his record (four times), gives his songs timestamps as titles, and sings about it quite a bit, specifically on the track “yyyy” where he loops his vocals to say ‘time’ for nearly most of the song. This obsession with time isn’t coincidental; instead it gives YYU’s music a sense of urgency and sensitivity. Opener “for hands/ moo.3” feels like waking up lost amongst a sea of endless screensavers, building and exploding in one’s field of vision. “um (don’t be)” is an example of YYU’s emotional intensity, strummed and looped as his fragile voice croons above. “&time” is the (un)holy meeting of natural and digital music: sensitive guitars layer upon YYU’s gorgeous vocals before bursting into a looping jubilee of syllables and drum hits. What makes YYU so special is his ability to synthesize feelings that are completely alien and utterly human. This alliance of natural and electronic sounds sometimes clash and overpower each other, but do so in the most serene way possible.

I've always been a massive fan of Boards of Canada (if its not obvious already!). 10-11 years ago I stumbled upon a bootleg recording of one of their extremely rare live performances at the Warp 10 Birthday party in 2000. The closing tune at this show has always remained a mystery to me. As far as I know it has no title and has never been released. It's quite possibly one of my favorite things they have done and really is a shame it never came out. Fast forward to Summer 2012... Since I am a huge nerd I decided to take this bootleg recording and re-produce it for fun. Using the recording I laid new drums over the existing drum patterns (almost 100% accurate to original), replayed some synth parts and the bassline. The only thing I didn't try to re-create was the original vocoder parts and some random samples so I used the original bootleg recording for that. I was tempted to make a shorter 4-5 minute version but I figured I should preserve the original piece in its intended length.
Downloads limited to 100 (sorry I still haven't upgraded my account). I do not claim rights to the original nor do I intend to ever sell this. Not sure if I'm violating anything or not with Soundcloud so grab it quick!
