YOUNG ENERGY READY TO TAKE ROSKILDE FESTIVAL 2013
Angel Haze, The Bots and King Krule add an extra glow of youth and freshness to the lineup.
Today's music acts may not be that old. Yet, their music is imbued with a confidence, weight and maturity you would associate with much older acts.ANGEL HAZE (US) is one of the new strong women of hip hop. The energetic amazon caused a stir with her version of Eminem's "Cleaning Out My Closet" in which she raps about a sexual assault. "I run New York," is the chorus from her signature song. We bet she includes Roskilde when she drops by.
THE BOTS (US) master punk rock'n'roll, aiming for both the melodies and the carnal groove. As a matter of course, they find an unprecedented point on the colour scheme of retro rock. Brothers Mikaiah and Anaiah Lei have fine-tuned their skills on the electric guitar and the drums since childhood – and they released their first album when they were 15 and 12, respectively.
KING KRULE (UK) might end up as the melancholic voice of his generation. He serves up his depressive songs in a melodic blend of blues, jazz and reverb-wrapped pop. Previous projects from the East London troubadour also indicate a familiarity with dubstep and hip hop. It is hopefully only in the young Brit’s lyrics that his future looks sooty and black.

Casa de pueblo familiar a 15 Kilometros del evento…, si, ministra, a algunos nos sigue interesando, pero claro, con estos carteles que montan, pues a veces finalmente te vas a Benidorm, otras a Benicassim o te quedas en tu casa. Pero siempre (y cuando digo siempre, es siempre) que he ido me lo he pasado, teta no, lo siguiente (tetas).

LA BIEN QUERIDA han hecho un disco de pop electrónico bailable con los mismos paradigmas que New Order, si New Order ya estuvieron en el Sónar, ¿por qué no ellos?
Del resto, hay cosas muy chulas, incluyendo el hype del momento como es MIKKI BLANCO. Por GOLD PANDA, LIARS o DARKSTAR que no firmaríamos para verlos en el PS!!!

Gustándome el disco de la baconqueso, me empieza a parecer muy populachero lo del Sonar. En vez de traer lo mejor de nuevas tendencias electrónicas, van a lo hiperseguro, como si fueran una mezcla de cartel de la Fabrik con un Contempopránea.
Dicho esto, iré, claro.

Incluso me había parecido leer Darkside en lugar de Darkstar sin extrañarme nada.

Añado que sí, que sé que de vez en cuando arriesgan y traen cosas interesantes. Pero que muchas veces ese riesgo significa traer a un tío con máquinas de coser o cualquier cosa que no sea el tipo de música electrónica que ya se conoce. Todo muy acotadito, nada que se salga de ciertos patrones. A veces te encuentras con cosas tan maravillosas como lo de Cyclo hace dos años. Pero eso, a veces. Con la capacidad que tienen, lo hacen a veces.
