Yo manana he optado por el screening de 'Dead Poets Society' como homenaje a Robin Williams que Secret Cinema organiza en el Troxy y que tendrá alguna sorpresa más y por la noche en horario golfo en Fabric: Factory Floor live, Dopplereffekt live y Daniel Avery entre otros.
El Sábado iré a Vatican Shadow, Lee Gamble y más gente por confirmar en el ACE Hotel de Shoreditch.

Ojo, ojo, que a la vez que Factory Floor y demás está la gente de Exit Records. El live que vi a Consequence, de drum n bass muy minimo, es de lo mejor que vi en aquel Outlook, Stray mola una barbaridad y Machinedrum será de footwork junglero a muerte. My cup of tea.

In the past 72 hours there have been many accusations thrown at ATP and some so vindictive that we feel it necessary to defend our position.
Firstly, the claim that ATP has received all the funds for Jabberwocky is not true. We have not received a payment from Dash for more than two months. Any advances from the sales before that, went straight into event costs such as various artist fees and venue hire. But we have not received all the funds for Jabberwocky sales from Dash, and for them to make statements on their social media saying we have in fact received all these funds is simply not true. If that was the case, then we would not have struggled to stage the event.
As per their Terms & Conditions at the time Jabberwocky went on sale, we were always under the impression that in the event of a cancellation; all refunds would be processed by Dash, as the funds were sent directly to Dash's PayPal account - not ATPs. Since then, Dash's Terms & Conditions have changed on their website without our knowledge, well after Jabberwocky was on-sale, in an attempt to reflect no responsibility for the payments accepted into their PayPal account.
We know you are angry, and quite rightly so as you are hearing contradictory information concerning the source of your refunds - we are NOT trying to pass the buck, but any funds we did receive from Dash are tied up in the cancelled event and we too have lost considerable amounts of money. But we are petitioning Dash and working closely and restlessly with Paypal to ensure all customers receive their full due amount.
Secondly, the PR firm we originally engaged for Jabberwocky, Zeitgeist, felt it was necessary to announce to the world that they were taking legal action against us. What they neglected to mention was that we actually terminated their services for doing a disappointingly substandard job on the Jabberwocky press campaign and are in a legal dispute with them over the amount owed. When we dismissed them, they also started circulating rumours that Jabberwocky was in trouble, which of course did not help with advance sales and unfortunately, became a self-fulfilling prophecy.
We are trying to get everyone refunded as soon as possible and honour all bands agreements. We have tried to assist in organising shows this weekend so all the door money goes to the artists to help pay their fee due for Jabberwocky and ensure that they are not out of pocket. The rumours that we stopped a band from playing a show because of a contractual obligation is also untrue. They assure us that they had not confirmed a show with another venue and were happy to book a show assisted by us in order to help secure their immediate expenses for the weekend and go towards the original fee that they were offered, which is being honoured.
If people want to continue slinging mud at us, we can't stop them, but we would ask that you pause to think about what it takes for a company of our size to continue to exist in the current music climate, and question if you really believe that there was some machiavellian intent to rip off music fans that we have given so many years of our life to, whilst trying to survive and deliver quality shows. If anyone out there says they believe in what we do; now is the time to support us more than ever, rather than letting others try and kick us while we are down.
We are devastated the event didn't happen. It has always been a dream to finally get together two of our long time friends - Pitchfork & Primavera - and Jabberwocky was to be this dream realised. We have all worked tirelessly for almost a year on this, and so of course, tried absolutely everything in our power to stage it right up to the very moment that there were no options left other than this absolute last resort. -
Nos planteamos el ir, pero es una ciudad demasiado cara para un Festival como el Jabberwocky. Sólo mirar hotel, más vuelos, más entradas, muy complicado…

Otro por aqui al que dejaron colgado, al menos tuve un fin de semana por Londres que siempre esta bien. Ahora en la pelea por conseguir el dinero de vuelta. Creo que el tema de la cancelacion es una putada, pero si no se puede hacer no hay mas que hablar, lo que de verdad me molesta es el jaleo montado ahora entre Dash y la organizacion para devolver el dinero, eso si me parece una falta de respeto total hacia los que compramos los tickets.

Y yo planteándome las vacaciones del año que viene para estrenarme en un atp con el de islandia, va a ser que no.
De momento iban Swans (cancelaron a última hora este año y los dejaron para el que viene) y Belle and Sebastian, aunque como se ha puesto el tema, a saber si lo harán o no.
De todas formas, para ir a Islandia no te hace falta la excusa de un festival. El país es la ostia.

Esperemos que así sea. Quiero creer que se llevará a cabo ya que mucha gente irá por ser Islandia y los propios residentes también.

Alguno esta en el caso de que su compra con Paypal sea anterior a 45 dias?
Lo digo porque primero me puse en contacto con Dash, estos me mandaron a ATP, ATP me dijo que cancelase en PayPal el pago pero eso no es tan sencillo porque el pago tiene mas de 45 dias (47 en concreto), asi que he puesto una reclamacion formal en Paypal ya que es lo unico que podia hacer…

Yo me puse en contacto con ATP, estos me dijeron que hablara con Dash. Me puse en contacto con Dash, y estos me volvieron a enviar a ATP. Supongo que están jugando a alargar el asunto porque sino no tiene ningún tipo de explicación. Al ver que por su parte no recibía nada en positivo, contacté con mi banco e hice una reclamación teniendo que justificar el motivo y explicando brevemente qué había pasado.
Llevo unos días esperando así que he vuelto a ponerme en contacto con ATP informándoles de que ya he realizado dicha reclamación y que ellos supuestamente tienen que aceptarla para que se pueda proceder a la devolución del dinero. Me han contestado diciendo que me ponga en contacto con PayPal, y tengo el mismo problema, la compra la realicé hace más de 45 días.
Todo es bastante ridículo ya. Aunque se pudiera entender la cancelación del festival -que por mi parte es inadmisible que se haga 3 días antes de su inicio-, es indignante el comportamiento que están teniendo después al querer desvincularse de todo.

La responsabilidad es de Dash, eso está claro: hemos hecho la compra con ellos, y ellos deben devolver el dinero. No importa que digan que pasaron la pasta a ATP y tal: es suya la responsabilidad, por mucho que en los acuerdos legales digan ciencia ficción.
Guilen: has hecho bien. La cosa de las reclamaciones va así: escalando. Si Dash no hace nada, a paypal, y si paypal no hace nada, al banco. khurtham: ponte en contacto con el banco.

Vale, pues estamos en el mismo caso. Reclamacion puesta en Paypal y en el banco, a ver si de esta manera conseguimos avanzar.
Por mi parte se me han quitado las ganas de festival ATP para los restos.

Nononononono, NO a la vez. A la vez no lo hagas porque en cuanto uno mire que otro party esta investigando la reclamacion, se echa para atras. Llama a tu banco y di que ya tienes la reclamacion por paypal.
Por cierto, a mi ya me han hecho el reintegro completito.

Bueno, yo ya he ido al banco y también me han hecho el reintegro del dinero del abono (aunque eso es cortesía de la caixa y es provisional hasta que se resuelva la disputa).
Al final solo pude ver dos bolos alternativos el viernes: Mick Turner y Deafheaven. Los últimos me parecieron bastante patéticos, rozando la vergüenza ajena en algunos momentos.
Por otra parte, decir que no me parece muy acertada la respuesta del Primavera Sound ante la cancelación del festival. Compré la entrada en abril y se anunciaba de esta forma:
Aquí parece que tanto el ATP, como Pitchfork y el Primavera Sound organizan un festival conjuntamente. Así se vendió y la imagen no deja muchas dudas.
Después, paseándome por Brick Lane el domingo, llegué sin querer al ACE Hotel, justo veo entrar a John Dwyer y me fui a la recepción del hotel para saber si habría tickets en la puerta pero nadie sabía nada. Vi una nota en la recepción anunciando que arriba a las 20:00h estarán pinchando los djs del Primavera. La encabronada que cogí fue tremenda.En fin, ya nadie me devolverá la pasta del hotel, vuelos y el puto gasto en una ciudad carísima de cojones así que nada… Gracias a Risingson por pasarse a tomar una cerveza con nosotros. Por lo menos también pude disfrutar del concierto de Slint el miércoles. Aunque no entiendo aún como funcionan en Londres los conciertos: se anuncia para las 19, a las 20:15 sale una tía para tocar 5 canciones con su guitarra para empezar Slint a las 21:45.

Siguiendo lo último que habían colgado los de ATP en su web sobre el reembolso, he llamado esta mañana a PayPal España y ellos también estaban al tanto del affaire Jabberwocky. Me han hecho el reembolso instantáneo. Bueno, llega en 24-72 horas, pero quiero decir que no me han puesto ninguna pega. Pero si fuese otro caso no hubiésemos podido hacer nada, porque no se hacen responsables de entradas de conciertos o reclamaciones de más de 45 días. Yo las compré en mayo.
