Just got home comatose after finishing up the final leg of our 14 month tour for Swans To Be Kind album. We have come to your town, though it's doubtful we have partied down. It has been a privilege to be inside the sound that on some nights seems to create itself of its own accord, and it's gratifying that many of you have conveyed to us that it's been a positive experience for you too… Next step: Sept 1 we commence a new Swans album. This will be the final Swans album (and subsequent tour) for this version / iteration of Swans. Not really sure what the next step will be after that, but that's perhaps a good thing… We'll be making a live album/fundraiser (called The Gate) soon, in order to raise the necessary - somewhat daunting - capital for the studio album, which is bound to be an insatiable beast… more soon, Thanks and Love! - Michael Gira

Una prueba del estado regulero del foro es que apenas hemos hablado de todo lo de Paris y los sentimientos encontrados que me produce el trato a Eagles of Death Metal. Me siento como un puto hipster oportunista al escuchar sus discos ahora, ver sus directos, y gustarme, y tampoco me parece mal la "campaña" para hacerles números uno, pero no sé si el grupo se merece esa presión, esa exposición tan agotadora.
Me parece también curioso cómo, de todos los estilos de música, los terroristas escogieron este.
Y me parece curioso cómo, como han señalado en varios medios musicales, en la tele han ignorado el nombre del grupo al hablar del asalto en la sala, como si fuera algo menor.

Escogieron ese concierto como le podia haber tocado a cualquier otro. Esta peña si fueran arios serian skin heads nazis, por que son genero humano y en este hay siempre gentes con una predisposición potencial a ser utilizados tras comida de cabeza pertinente en su juventud para hacer daño gratuitamente sin remordimientos (si entre estos pillan alguno del porcentaje de psicópatas que habitan entre nosotros pues pa que quieres mas) . Hablar de los ideólogos de la comida de cabeza, en la prensa hay para dar y tomar según interese. Este documental de Vice sobre el ISIS en Siria dándonos un visionado desde dentro y tan solo filmando su costumbrismo fascista es muy bueno. Y si, hay otros estados con ese mismo costumbrismo pero hacen negocios con nuestras elites. Para mi todo se reduce a separar poderes politicos de religion. Vamos como separar poderes politicos de mundo empresarial.
