People of the North – Sub Contra (Thrill Jockey, 2013)

Lasers- “Exchange levels” (2013, Irregular)
_En el año 2011 se dieron a conocer con su alabadísimo álbum debut “Juno” , que vio la luz bajo licencia del sello Irregular. Ahora, dos años después, este trío barcelonés vuelve a la carga con su segunda puesta en largo que lleva por título “Exchange levels” y que tiene fecha de salida el próximo 15 de abril en el mismo sello que lo hizo su maravilloso primer lp.
En esta ocasión Lasers cambian totalmente de registro y dejan aparcado aquellos ritmos marcados por esa fusión de shoegaze, post-punk y synth-pop de “Juno” para ofrecernos un álbum mucho más cercano al house más underground con ramificaciones al cosmic Disco y al pop más fresco._

dejo enlace al proyecto nuevo de DM Stith. En mi opinión no alcanza a Heavy Ghost, pero tiene algunos momentos enormes y vuelve a dejar patente que el señor Stith es un arreglista brillante. Pongan el cinturón de seguridad a sus corazones cuando suenen hold back y I swear I'm clean porque un servidor lo ha tenido que recoger un par de manzanas más adelante durante un paseo nocturno.
