vienen a liarla parpel."Dreamliner does not just dabble in screechy guitars or chug on way down tuned E-strings to generate some false sense of brooding but instead dives headfirst into huge waves of feedback and ambient sound. Before you think Brighter Arrows have completely bucked traditional song structure and have become some boring drone ambient band they are still very rooted in that gloomier-Pinback sound from their previous recordings; simply expounded upon with new layers of sound."

label submission
"The songs on Dreamliner cover a broad range of sounds that include post punk, melodic, emotional indie, and almost border on going into shoegaze territory"

Oathbreaker - Eros|Anteros (Deathwish Inc.,2013)
(Chaotic) Hardcore / (Blackened) Post-Metal

@2yox3by6:
Here's another prime example of what Belgian bands are capable of. Seriously, these Church of Ra bands are blessed with an amazing talent and are the best blackened hardcore/post-metal the scene has to offer these days. Just listening to 'Eros|Anteros' is a stunning soul searching journey, a truly breathtaking record. In a nutshell, this one slays hard.

No suenan mal:
Speedy Ortiz / Major Arcana [2013]

http://rapidgator.net/file/0ebd9c711f00d165590f7383ac5d178d/soma.zip.html http://uploaded.net/file/erecebrf@54pxfuzh:
On their debut full-length, Western Massachusetts’ Speedy Ortiz manages a bit of magic by conjuring the spirits of classic American indie rock, while twisting those ghosts into new shapes. It’s easy to hear the influences of Helium, Jawbox, and Chavez on this album, as well as nods to their contemporaries including Grass is Green, Pile, and Roomrunner. Sweet vocal harmonies run up against gnarly
distortion, aided by basic, chunky bass parts and heavy, fill-laden drums. The album was recorded in a few days in November at Justin Pizzoferrato’s (Dinosaur Jr., Chelsea Light Moving) studio, Sonelab, a huge space in an old factory in Easthampton, Mass. The sessions went from very early in the day until very late at night, with the band taking its time to experiment. Pizzoferrato’s collection of old distortion pedals were utilized on both the record’s guitars and vocals.
The theme of the occult and the supernatural runs deep through Major Arcana, inspired by singer-guitarist Sadie Dupuis’ reading on black magic. Dupuis’ sometimes knotty and abstract lyrics bring to mind fellow wordsmith Stephen Malkmus, while referencing horror film tropes, chemistry, and neuroscience. Major Arcana’s literal translation is “major mysteries,” a phrase from tarot cards. “I don’t write in a narrative way and am more concerned with use of language than meaning,” Dupuis says, “so I like the open-endedness of the title and the way it invites interpretation.”

Rivers Cuomo / Scott Murphy – Scott & Rivers (2013)

http://uploaded.net/file/qqzg5cz9/ScottRivers2013.rar@3eceh86v:
Scott and Rivers is the collaboration between Scott Murphy, of Chicago pop-punkers Alister, and Rivers Cuomo, of the iconic Weezer. For no better reason than they can, the duo recorded a full-length LP sung almost entirely in Japanese. Over the course of their debut self-titled’s 12 tracks, the duo prove that truly boss power-pop transcends any language barrier.
While some folks might be turned off by the whole “I don’t speak Japanese” aspect, the pair transcend such frivolous notions with their varied musical chops. Amid an album of bombast, the proggy piano drone and massive harmonies make “Break Free” an arena-rock anthem. “Even Far Away” busts out a cheesy synth line, which helps make their rocking a little more delicate and introspective.
And the handclap drums and muted guitar of “Burst” are like a Hall and Oates ballad, which suits Scott and Rivers just splendidly.
It’s their expressive vocals throughout that keep this from being more of a gimmick. On “Two People and You”, Cuomo’s voice reaches brand-new levels of nerdy romanticism, sounding as fresh and endearing as he has in years. And speaking of nostalgia, “Homely Girl” is ripe with youthful exuberance, and could have been a Blue Album outtake. But the real joy is the pair’s overall interplay, so perfectly matched yet individually nuanced.
The whole language issue is a blessing, as it leaves space for listeners to come to their own emotional conclusions. Whether it’s finding reasoning for why Cuomo is extra lonesome on “Close The Morning”, or ignoring the words of “Freakin’ Love My Life’” and just getting down to that chirpy synth. Cheese aside, this record is best heard with your heart and not with your head.
