I’m heading out on the Revival Tour next month. It something that I’ve always wanted to do and I’m especially excited about our SXSW showcase with Frank Turner. Dewees and I are doing some more east coast shows. Check here for tickets to all that fun stuff. James and I have also been discussing this new record that we’re going to do this summer and adding some mid west dates hopefully in May and some west coast dates after. Tuesdays With Reggie will be back next week. We took some time off because James’ house flooded with sewage. Gross. The New Amsterdams final record entitled “Outroduction” is coming out in March as well. You can pre-order the record from our friends at Blue Collar Distro. Finally, The Terrible Twos third album “A Pear To Attack” is trucking along. All the basic tracks are done and we’re just adding on some stuff before it goes to mix. I’m playing at the Kindiefest family music conference this year as well.

On en prend la mesure dès les premières secondes du bien nommé 'Noise Parade', brûlot rock sombre et hautement abrasif, propulsé par une rythmique (musiciens de Shipping News) en béton armé ; Le ton est donné et la tension ne déclinera plus, sur un album qui laisse plus que jamais apprécier le chant et le jeu de guitare si impressionnants de l'américaine. Fidèle à son habitude, Shannon Wright s'octroie un instant plus calme et instrospectif, avant de nous renvoyer dans les cordes avec un final furieux, tout aussi poignant. Une véritable expérience sonore et émotionnelle.
10ème album de Shannon Wright, enregistré en 2012 au studio La La Land à Louisville, Kentucky, par Kevin Ratterman (déjà aux manettes entre autres pour Andrew Bird, Coliseum, Maserati). Kyle Crabtree à la batterie et Todd Cook à la basse (paire rythmique de Shipping News). Mixé par Kevin Ratterman et Shannon Wright. Masterisé par Bob Weston (Shellac).

Genial lo de CocoRosie que debo ser uno de los pocos que mantiene la fe, este disco está previsto para 28 de mayo!!!!, dos meses antes ya se filtra¿? no es algo pronto? no dejan de sorprenderme estas cosas la verdad.

http://ul.to/pyi6jhdnJoe macho, me lo pongo en el curro me quito de la oreja el casquito y cuando vuelvo suena otro disco, ah redeu!!, todo el disco dura menos que una canción de Gybe!. Dicho esto, apunto que son un cruce entre GbV y Weezer, estos últimos son lo primero que me ha venido a la cabeza, pero vamos que yo estoy muy pallá y siempre veo similitudes dónde otros no.
