Primavera Sound 2014

What about Beck?? I am really hoping to seem him on the bill. I guess he would very likely be a headliner, wouldn't he?
-
sooo, will we have another try with Rodriguez this time?
or is 'Line Up' being filmed in Detroit and about a 'mysterious record' just a coincidence? has somebody said something to this obvious coherency?
tempted about Slowdive!

If the location is a hint as to a Detroit artist playing then here's hoping it'll be Was (Not Was) I'd be more inclined to Jack White though if that is the case.

A new Primavera / ATP / Pitchfork festival in London!
-
-
pleeease I Break Horses as well @ Primaverasound
-
So the grand reveal is at 19:30 GMT isn't it?
-
Exactly. The http://www.line-upthemovie.com/ will start at 20.30 gmt+1. Looks like the movie will last about 30 minutes. And the complete line-up will be revealed just after.
-
Congrats#teamprimavera!
Best Line-Up ever indeed.
-
Lots of great acts! I am particularly thrilled by Spoon, Volcano Choir, Darkside, St. Vincent, Blood Orange, John Grant, the Winged Victory of the Sullen and Foals! I am slightly disappointed not to see Beck, Future Islands and Outkast though, but of course, the lineup is amazing. And I really liked the lineup's movie!
-
the movie was great fun!! well done
i'm very happy to see The National on the top. love to see so many new and old (temples..) or old and new (slowdive..)
BUT a few missing though.. Future Islands and I Break Horses. thought they will both appear...
-
really enjoyed the line up movie - good fun and a nice way to reveal the bands.
Pretty chuffed with the line up overall. Lots of bands i already love. Julie Ruin, Speedy Ortiz, Helen Love (that was a surprise), National, Real Estate, War on Drugs, Mogwai, Pixies, NMH. Also Plenty bands I'm familiar with but don't know to well and I'll be happy to check them out. Then the best bit, bands I'm not familiar with that i can now go and discover.
Roll on May. Warmer weather top of the bill this year please!
-
very happy with line-up although a bit confused - have read on efestivals webiste that bands will be playing at the Parc de la Ciutadella on saturday too - assume this is free to general public like when bands played there in 2012, does anyone yet know if this will be saturday night and thus clash with bands playing at the main festival site?
-
I suppose that bands that will play on Saturday in Parc de la Ciudadella will play in the afternoon.
The line-up is awesome, as usual!
-
i think this question is on the spanish forum as well:
will the twilight sad be playing 'Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters' or a normal concert?
i fear they'll have a difficult playtime (same time as The National?) since there is another possibility to see them on saturday afternoon…
-
So did anyone else think Herb Alpert was playing when the cover of !!Going Places!! was shown in the record shop around 2:40?
-
So, is the line-up complete now or can we expect any additions?
-

I think there might be some additions, there was last year after the announcement video? There will also be some acts dropping out of the bill too. Has to happen. Sleep not playing a few years back is probably the most upsetting no-show for me personally, though I know Bjork and Rodriguez probably top other people's list.

I missed Crime & The City Solution last year… What happened with them - any info out there? Seems like they woked up but very short thereafter went back to sleep again...
