I've been to Primavera twice but I've never been to the 'parc' free concerts where Twilight Sad are playing. Is this close to the festival? Walking distance?

Parc de la Ciutadella is so close to the center (then, so far from the Forum), besides the Born where the church of Santa Maria del Mar is. A pleasant walk from Barceloneta, Ramblas or Gothic , that i'm sure you know.

the obvious guess would be the wedding present. they already did the surprise gig last year before the blur show.
also, volcano choir are gonna do an extra gig on thursday at the apollo.

Wedding Present were one of the open gigs the year before too. Great gig IMHO.

Is there an area-map available? Not the Google, but the PS one with the stages, bars, sale-areas, food- and toilet-areas etc that use to be avaiöable a little in advance (though I never can find it without a link…)?

I don't really care about the band per se but if she comes on stage with Disclosure on the song Help Me Lose My Mind, that would be amazing!

The Friday night performance will be a mixture of all four of our records but we are seriously considering playing our debut album Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters in full for our show on the Saturday in the city centre. All in all we are thrilled to be bringing our drunken Scottish miserable music to one of Europe's finest cities and festivals.
that's james alexander graham from twilight sad writing about primavera. i think it says a lot about the festival when bands are as excited about it as i am.

I would also love to see Olafur Arnalds and Owen Pallett who are in the area during this period. However, I wonder where we could fit all these bands without having more clashes than we have now…

Looks to me like you're right about Hamilton Leithauser playing this year. Had a look at the second clue for the hidden tracks artist and it seems pretty clear to me that it means Ex-Walkman!
Expect it'll be a couple of days before PS confirm it.
Quite liking this secret stage lark. Good fun.

I initially thought the 'x' meant multiple - multiple walkman = walkmen, but now that you mention Hamilton Leithauser, that makes more sense (given they're on extended hiatus)

are the two stages of primavera al parc right next to each other?
any news on the location of the secret stage? last i read was "next to the atp", but that doesnt really make sense now, since hamilton and sharron would heavily clash.
edit: hamilton vs slowdive. sigh.
