Las Buenas Noches
Supongo que si Las Buenas Noches no son más conocidos es porque nunca han estado interesados en entrar en la industria o circuito profesional porque musical y letrísticamente me parecen de los mejores grupos españoles que haya escuchado.
Lo suyo es un folk abierto al mundo que trata de imaginar uno nuevo. Música hecha con calma, sensibilidad y vocación.
Como curiosidad, el cantante es hermano del cantante de Pony Bravo y otro de sus miembros es el conocido dibujante Miguel Brieva.

Pues me enteré (muy) tarde de este post y estaba aburrido en el trabajo, así que aquí va mi pequeño aporte para futuras consideraciones:
GUIDED BY VOICES
Se que tío Roberto odia salir de gira fuera de los EEUU y que de hecho, Primavera intentó traerlos en su edición de 2012. Vamos a ver si ésta vez lo logran convencer.
Guided by Voices (often abbreviated as GBV) is an American indie rock band originating from Dayton, Ohio. It has made frequent personnel changes but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Robert Pollard.
Noted at first for its lo-fi aesthetic and typically Portastudio four-tracks-to-cassette production methods, Guided by Voices' music reveals influences from post–British Invasion garage rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, punk rock and post-punk. The band has also garnered much attention for its prolific output, with a seemingly endless stream of releases. Most songs are in the two-minute range, but many are even shorter; often they end abruptly or are intertwined with odd and homemade sound effects.
Guided by Voices initially disbanded in 2004, but in 2010 the "classic lineup" reunited to perform at Matador Records 21st anniversary party, subsequently touring and releasing six new albums. GBV broke up a second time in late 2014, but Pollard again rebooted the band with a new album and a new lineup in February 2016.

Hasta donde se, nunca han tocado en un Primavera Sound o Primavera Club. En los 7 años que llevo viviendo en España, nunca los he visto girar por aquí. Muchos los podrán recordar como el backing-band de Elliott Smith o el side-project de Janet Weiss de Sleater Kinney.
Quasi is an American indie rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1993 by former spouses Sam Coomes (vocals, guitar, rocksichord, various keyboards, bass) and Janet Weiss (vocals and drums). Joanna Bolme performed and recorded with the group as a bassist from 2007 to 2011.

Si el Primavera se atrevió a traer a Wolf Eyes en el 2014 ¿por qué no traer a su ex tape mangler? Se que estuvo viviendo en Malta hasta hace poco y que tocó en varios festivales de música experimental en Europa a principios de año.
Aaron Dilloway is an experimental musician born in 1976. He is an improvisor and composer originally from Brighton, Michigan who works with the manipulation of 8-Track tape loops in combination with voice, tape delays and various organic and electronic sound sources. A founding member of the industrial noise group Wolf Eyes (1998 - 2005), Dilloway now resides in Oberlin, OH where he runs Hanson Records and Mailorder.

THE TERMINALS
Una de las bandas más elusivas del underground Neozelandés. Ex-miembros de The Pin Group, Victor Dimisich Band, Scorched Earth Policy, Builders... en fin, la crema de la crema de NZ . Recientemente re-editaron su joya "Uncoffined" en Hozac Records y se rumora que el año que viene editan algo nuevo en Ba Da Bing! Records.
The Terminals are an alternative rock band from New Zealand. They released material on the Xpressway and Flying Nun labels.

PETER JEFFERIES
Otro diamante en bruto del underground Neozelandés. Gracias a los reissues de De Stijl y Superior Viaduct, nuevas generaciones han podido descubrir a este genio que también proviene de las filas de Xpressway. Creo que nunca ha tocado fuera de NZ, así que el reto es grande.
Peter Jefferies is a musician from New Zealand. He is known for his involvement with Nocturnal Projections and This Kind Of Punishment as well as his extensive solo and collaborative work.
