Excelentes tanto los discos de M83 como el de Efterklang como el de PJ Harvey. Se incicia la temporada de manera muy interesante. Esperemos que siga la cosa con el mismo nivel que hasta ahora.

Se busca el nuevo disco de Eef Barzelay (ex-Clem Snide), que publica en unas semanas Houston Party. Un tipo me cortó la descarga en el slsk, así que ya tiene que estar por ahí. Se gratificaría con un efusivo "muchas gracias"

no es filtración, pero bueno. Disco en solitario del cantante de Lungfish. El diseño en formato libro del CD con ilutraciones de él es impecable. Y sólo por 15 pavos, vamos, lo que vale un cd normal. A todo esto, que feas las cajas nuevas esas redondeadas ¿no? Estaba mirando el nuevo disco del Richard Hawley el otro día en la tienda y no le pegaba nada la caja esta. Creo que estoy desvariando. CD version is limited to 4,000 copies and is a full color 48 page 6x8" hard cover book featuring the paintings and poetry of Daniel A.I.U. Higgs. The CD enclosed with the book is a full length album recorded in his home and is intended to be experienced with the book.

In recent years, Higgs has released a number of solo outings that can only be described as the ultimate in isolation, worlds away from the hypnotic, communal rock of his band. On Atomic Yggdrasil Tarot, Higgs weaves meditative, casually ruptured drones using acoustic and electric guitar, upright pianos, banjo and jew’s harp, recorded entirely at home on cassette recorder. He pairs the music with a series of paintings that call to mind religious iconography passed through the disfiguring surrealism of Miro.

Higgs has wedded his music and his visual art into a singular being, meant to be encountered as a conjuring force similar to that of the tarot experience. The yggdrasil is the great tree of Norse myth that connects all worlds of cosmology. Passing into Christian folklore, the tree is said to connect heaven and earth. In his relentless pursuit of the indivisible, Higgs travels up and down this spine and hatches a new transubstantiation of sound and image into life-form.

Sí, la verdad es que da un poco por saco lo de las peticiones y los reups y toda la mandanga. Le quita romanticismo al tema y denota una falta de esfuerzo, colaboración y, en definitiva, exceso de cara dura.
