Of Montreal get special guest at New York show
David Byrne turns up in crowd_Of Montreal played their second show at New York's Irving Plaza last night (March 10) before a famous fan.
They performed songs from their newest album, 'Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?' to a sold-out crowd, that included former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.
The band's line-up changed constantly throughout the night, with drum machines occasionally replacing drums, and two bassists on other numbers. The group played in costume, guitarist BP Helium in a full angel suit, complete with wings. Screens behind the band showed psychedelic animation, including 'Yellow Submarine'-style caricatures of the musicians.
Leader Kevin Barnes, who recently bared all during a gig in Las Vegas, stayed mostly clothed throughout the one-and-a-half hour set. With tightly parted hair, Barnes began the show in a sparkly cape. By the end, he wore a sashed kimono, cut-off shorts, and fishnet stockings.
"It's kind of my concept, to bring world peace to the Earth if everyone had to stand naked in front of their peers once a month," Barnes told Rochester's WITR in February. "I had to pick Vegas because that's the only 21-plus venue we're playing on this tour and I didn't want to become a sex offender, because that would be pretty dreadful."_

Por fortuna teletrabajo y el lunes podré alternar una hora de sueño en mi cama con otra haciendo como que produzco… total, el avión ya está pillado.
En cuanto al concierto de Of Montreal, veo que tienen para una hora escasa de show, esperaba más, pero será un fin de fiesta perfecto.
