LOS NUEVOS PROYECTOS DE NACHO VEGAS :

Nacho Vegas será el protagonista de Más que a mi suerte, un cortometraje de Elena López. Se trata de un film de 8 minutos que transcurre en Orihuela. Se trata de la historia de un hombre que vuelve a su ciudad natal tras una larga ausencia para recoger las cenizas de su madre.
Su llegada coincide con la tradicional fiesta de Moros y Cristianos, que embriaga a todo el pueblo. El recién llegado se deja llevar por el ambiente festivo de la ciudad junto a dos mujeres con las que transgredirá ciertos límites, saliendo, por una noche, de su monótona vida.

Por otra parte, el músico, escritor y ahora también actor gijonés, ha grabado junto a Enrique Bunbury El tiempo de las cerezas, que será editado por EMI el 18 de septiembre. El álbum fue grabado en el Puerto de Santa María junto a Paco Loco y mezclado en Figueres (Girona) por Jordi Mora. El álbum ha sido masterizado por Greg Calbi (Bob Dylan, Television, The Strokes) en Sterling Sound, Nueva York.

In an interview posted yesterday morning, frontman Rivers “Harvard Graduate” Cuomo told MTV News, “For the moment, we are done. And I'm not certain we'll ever make a record again, unless it becomes really obvious to me that we need to do one.”
I’m not sure what would make it “obvious” that Weezer need to make another record, but we can only hope that they miss that “obvious” sign like they missed the one that told them to stop making records, oh, ten years ago. Of course that “obvious” sign came after the one that told them not to start a band in the first place.
Unfortunately, we won’t get the pleasure of a “greatest hits” record either. “I'm not convinced that we have a greatest-hits album that is worth putting out at this point,” Cuomo told MTV. “It's being discussed with the record company right now, but we have to sign off before they can do anything. And to be honest, we don't all see eye-to-eye on it.” Wait, I thought they already put out two greatest hits records. Weren’t they called The First Two Albums?

Tindersticks join 'Don't Look Back' season
However Ennio Morricone delays show till December
Tindersticks are the latest band to join the 'Don't Look Back' season of gigs for 2006.The group will play their second eponymous album from 1995 in its entirety on September 17 at The Barbican Theatre in London.
They join the likes of Low, Teenage Fanclub and John Martyn in playing classic albums from their back catalogue in full.
Meanwhile it has been announced that Ennio Morricone's Hammersmith Apollo shows (July 19 and 20) have been postponed "due to unforeseen technical difficulties". The dates will now take place December 1 and 2 at the same venue.

Soft Bulletin, hay alguna web para informarse de los Don't look back's, siempre me ha molado mucho esa idea, además, por lo que he sabido de años anteriores, suelen escoger el mejor disco para presentar, bastante acertadamente.

la web és la que apunta suarez. Si que es cierto que escogen muy bien los discos, aunque tengo que decir que en el caso de tindersticks creo no han estado del todo acertados. Yo habria escogido antes el "I" o el "Curtains" que el "II"

Pues cuéntanos detalles, como va el proyecto, está ya cerrada la recepción de maquetas, se han recibido muchas, se centrará en como dices la época primeriza de Christina, creo que fue bastante famosa en Sudámerica en aquella época…

Pues mis últimas noticias (hace unos días que no hablamos via messenger, cosas del curro) es que el proyecto está bastante adelantado. Ya se ha hecho el proceso de selección de los participantes y hay unas cuantas bandas españolas. Tendria que ponerme en contacto con el otra vez para que me dijera cualas son. Hay bastantes de otros paises de America Látina, como pasó en el anterior disco de homenaje a Aerolinas Federales. No se que canciones saldran en este disco, pero al menos la intención del promotor de la idea es recuperar las canciones del duo. La última epoca de Cristina como que no le interesa lo más mínimo.

Un buen lavado de cara a las canciones de Alex y Christina no estaria mal;Además, tienen algunas letras que son bastante cachondas.
En Sudamerica la quieren un montón(más que aquí seguro.Aunque no es muy difícil.Pobreta). Por la mula hace tiempo corria una especie de entrevista-documental(y me quedo la mar de tranquilo), en que un tio con ella pateandose Madrid y hablando del Cerrado, que era el disco que supongo que acababa de grabar por esos entonces. -
