Yo pensé en la opción Sonic Youth nada más comentar lo de Diciembre, porque vi las fechas de sus actuaciones por Europa por entonces. Pero no quise dar demasiadas ilusiones por aqui en caso de no ser cierto luego ni chafar la fiesta al Mr. que es a quien le pertenece dar las primicias, es un poco cruel si lo pensamos averiguar la sorpresa antes de que la diga….

Sí, es el fin de Arab Strap. Después de diez años, seis discos de estudio, tres álbumes en directo y otras muchas cosas, hemos decidido que la historia debía llegar a su fin. No hay rencor, ni drama, sencillamente pensamos que hemos hecho nuestro camino y que "The Last Romance" es el final más obvio y lógico para la aventura de Arab Strap en el estudio. ¡A todos nos gusta un final feliz!
Por supuesto, vamos a celebrarlo. Nuestro recopilatorio de aniversario, "Ten Years Of Tears", se editará en octubre/noviembre y tenemos organizada una "Gira de Despedida" (lo cual suena bastante cool) a partir del lanzamiento del disco en el Reino Unido y Europa. Esperamos que podáis uniros a nosotros, pero si no es así, dejadnos aprovechar la ocasión para daros las gracias por habernos escuchado.

Disorientated by the fog and quickly rising tides, the father was in constant contact with the rescue team via his mobile phone and although the rescuers were just a few hundred meters away, the raging tide and lack of visibility made it impossible for the pair to be saved. During one of the calls, the son was said to be sitting on his fathers' shoulders and rushing water can be heard in the background…Pajarito, a volar….

Suerte que era el premio más respetado de Gran Bretaña, por cierto que hablando de este nuevo grupo de culto, hoy he visto por tallers un álbum tributo a estos jovenzuelos cómo si fueran ya leyendas de la música popular…
este album se merece ir al post del horror ….
