Muzikalia informa sobre LISABÖ
Después de varios años sin subirse a un escenario, Lisabö regresarán a escena el próximo 29 de diciembre. La banda de Irún estará actuando junto a Anari en el Plateruena de Durango (Bizkaia). El grupo vasco ha sufrido algunos cambios en su formación: Aida, antigua baterista, ya no forma parte de Lisabö, mientras que Jabi Manterola, que había abandonado el grupo para centrarse en otros proyectos como Amodio, ha regresado.
La formación vasca prepara además un nuevo álbum para el año que viene, y que será autoeditado. Seguiremos informando.

En marzo murió Pete Wells de Rose Tattoo pues parece ser que ahora quien nos deja es Ian Rilen de la misma formación.
Ian Rilen también tocó con X, Ian Rilen & the Love Addicts y Sardine v.
Nos dejó el pasado 30 de octubre de este año depsués de haber luchado contra un cancer.

TRUCE, the independent Swiss magazine on art and culture with international status is breaking new ground: it initiates musicians and bands to put pen to paper. The first edition of TRUCE Diaries will be published in late summer this year featuring “The Young Gods” – with texts, images and a CD.“Germany declared war against Russia. – Swimming school this afternoon.” This is the diary entry of Franz Kafka on 2 August 1914. Diaries and journals provide a special kind of insight. Some display the extraordinary in ordinary people; others reveal the ordinary in the lives of extraordinary personalities. Thumbsketches and loose thoughts will find their way into journals just as much as sudden inspirations. Mostly such notations are not meant to be published – unless they are made for TRUCE Diaries.
The Young Gods who are currently touring Europe and celebrating their 20th anniversary are taking an empty journal around with them. Later this summer it will become a TRUCE Diary. The content of the journal is totally left to the artists: texts, sketches, photos – there are no limits to the creative input. One thing is for sure: TRUCE Diaries – The Young Gods, a limited and numbered edition, will be a very personal piece of work. Besides the visuals there will also be acoustic surprises: the band will produce a CD exclusively for TRUCE Diaries. Fans as well as people interested in music and art can look forward to this edition of TRUCE Diaries – and many more to come.

Nuevo EP de BABYSHAMBLES
Un par de semanas antes de que dé comienzo la gira española de Babyshambles, la banda de Pete Doherty editará a través de Parlophone un EP que llevará por título "The Blinding" y que contendrá cinco canciones nuevas del grupo.
El listado de temas de este nuevo lanzamiento de Babyshambles, el primero desde su álbum de debut "Down In Albion", es el siguiente:

Final Fantasy sacarà un nuevo cd llamado "Heartland" però antes se editarà un Ep a mediados de Marzo …luego dice que no harà gira hasta el 2008,aunque puede que haga unos cuantos conciertos en otoño del 2007...aquí os dejo el mensaje que escribió hace un par de días en su foro:
**_The new album is being sketched out and it's called "Heartland". Do you like the title? I think it's nice. It's another concept album, but this one has an overarching narrative. A plot arc, if you will. Like a Batman comic or… or... a 19th century Romantic song cycle like "Dichterliebe".
Recording wise, it's going to sound exactly like "He Poos Clouds" but with better microphones, better writing and we're using compressors to make it sound taut and clicky. No more weak, fey shit! Except the singing. That will always be tacky.
There will be a prequel EP of sorts. Ideally it will be released in March to co-incide with an upcoming tour supporting a band who's name I cannot divulge. But most of you will have already been planning to buy tickets. The tour will only be on the West Coast of the US, I'm afraid, but will include Final Fantasy's first ever gig in Seattle.
We're tracking songs for the long-overdue 7"s, as well. The stuff we tried before sounded pretty lame.
After this tour, there will not be any real touring for a... long time. At the earliest: fall 2007. Some dates here and there but nothing spectacular. I want to practise a bunch and come back in 2008 with entire new sets of entirely new material.
The way I see it, this last tour was a set that contained "CN Tower", "Win & Regine", "Song Song Song" and a whole lot of padding. I know that's a harsh synopsis but I'm resolved to keep with looped violin and try and wash away its rusty redundancies and prime it for extreme aesthetic pleasure. You see?
Until then, I hope you're all well. I've been touring almost constantly since September 2004 so I'm very excited to get a few months off to write and practise. If any of you saw a show, there was a 75% chance it was a good one and I hope you enjoyed what you saw. If you're one of the unlucky 25%, I'm sorry. Constant touring yields inconsistent results, you know?

The connotations of "Heartland" are intended. The album title is meant to evoke that mysterious sense of homestead nationalism.
And before any rumours get started, the band is NOT Arcade Fire. Most definitely, assuredly not that band, although that would be lovely and it's not a bad guess. There may be one show as a headliner as well.
Please, don't speculate! Rumours become facts so easily in Internet-land. It will be properly announced by the end of the year._

Nuevo de Julie Doiron para Enero…
_Julie Doiron: "Woke Myself Up"La cantautora canadiense entregará un nuevo álbum el próximo mes de enero a través de Jagjaguwar.TEXTO: Guillermo de la Madrid 15/11/2006Jagjaguwar, casa de bandas como Black Mountain o Okkervil River y en el que milita desde 1991 la canadiense Julie Doiron, será el sello encargado de editar, a finales del mes de enero, el nuevo trabajo de la cantautora.
"Woke Myself Up" viene a suceder en la carrera de Julie Doiron a "Goodnight Nobody", editado en España por Acuarela en 2004. Como ya se apuntaba en aquel disco, los temas de Doiron vuelven a girar en torno a su vida familiar y a ahondar en la introspección más personal. Además, "Woke Myself Up" supone la reunión de la canadiense con su antigua banda, Eric´s Trip: su compañero Rick White ha producido el disco y la formación original de la banda está presente en varios de los temas.

No entiendo una cosa, bueno tengo dudas… siempre las he tenido con este grupo. Nunca me ha quedado claro si se habían separado o no... Hoy curioseando la pagina de sebastian fors he leido entre todos los textos en sueco que tiene la palabra ballboy he deducido que hacía referencía al grupo... a ver... alguien me puede decir si se habían separado, si se habían tomado un tiempo de descanso, si era fruto de mi imaginación?
está actualizada, con dos fechas para este año. Me he puesto nervioso y en la proxima los votos. Pero bueno, como ya pregunté una vez, y como ya se me respondió, alguien me puede decir que pasa con este grupo, o si el problema simplemente lo tengo yo que no me entero demasiado...

Ya hay fecha para el regreso a la actualidad discográfica de la banda de Brooklin !!!. Será el próximo 4 de marzo cuando Warp edite el segundo trabajo del octeto neoyorquino, "Myth Takes", que llegará prácticamente tres años después de su debut en largo, "Louden Up Now" (2004).
El lanzamiento de este segundo álbum vendrá acompañado por una extensa gira en la que la banda promete "tocar en tu ciudad al menos una vez a lo largo del año". De momento no hay fechas confirmadas.

Gran noticia, a ver qué tal el disco. Yo estuve en ese concierto y fue algo diferente a todo lo que había vivido en directo, sino se está allí no se puede explicar, y sinceramente creo que está entre los 3 mejores conciertos que he visto nunca.

Pues a ver que hacen !!!. Tengo curiosidad por ver por dónde salen. Y que vuelvan, porqué aunque el disco no llegue al nivel del Louden Up Now en concierto son un seguro de vida. Las 3 veces que los he visto han estado a gran nivel (aunque la impresión del primavera sound es difícil de superar)

PALABRA Y MÚSICA 2007
El próximo mes de marzo tendrá lugar en el sevillano Teatro Lope de Vega la tercera edición del principal festival de "spoken word" de España, Palabra y Música. Para esta nueva edición, la organización del festival ha anunciado la presencia de Blixa Bargeld (Einstuerzende Neubauten, ex-The Bad Seeds) y del escritor Nick Hornby, que presentará su espectáculo junto a la banda norteamericana Marah.El festival, por el que en ediciones anteriores pasaron Lee Ranaldo, Richard Hell o Lydia Lunch, contará además con John Sinclair y Mark Ritsema o ProyectoeLe, que revisarán, en clave spoken, el álbum de debut de The Velvet Underground.
