Lamentamos comunicaros el fallecimiento del cineasta jamaicano Perry Henzell, director del film de culto "The Harder They Come" (traducido "Caiga Quien Caiga" en su versión castellana), que narraba las aventuras y desventuras de Ivanhoe "Rhygin" Martin, un hombre de campo que trata de abrirse camino en la industria musical emigrando a la ciudad.

El cineasta se encontraba combatiendo el cáncer desde hacía siete años y había sufrido hasta cinco recaídas, de las que se había repuesto, según su hijo Jason.

Las casualidades de la vida han hecho que falleciera a tan solo un día del estreno de su nueva película "No Place Like Home" en el Flashpoint Film Festival, que tiene lugar en Negril, Westmoreland, Jamaica.

Françoise Hardy hoy en el Periodico de Catalunya afirma al final de la entrevista que le hacen y que aprarece en portada de Espectaculos, que dejó de actuar en 1968 y no ve pq tiene que retomar los escenarios ahora a los sesenta. Añadía que se siente floja y frágil.

Wilco reveal new album plans
The Grammy winners get set for a busy 2007

Wilco are getting ready to release their sixth studio album next year.

The band have been busy working on the follow-up to 2004's Grammy winner 'A Ghost Is Born' at The Loft, their studio and homebase in Chicago. Longtime associate Jim O'Rourke will mix the still untitled, self-produced album in New York, with a May release tentatively scheduled.

O'Rourke, who recently moved to Japan after parting ways with Sonic Youth, has worked with the band on their previous two albums - 'A Ghost Is Born' and 2002's 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot'. He has also performed with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and drummer Glenn Kotche in their Loose Fur side project.

The band have performed a dozen new songs at their concerts over the last six months.

They are:

En todo caso Razzmatazz por aquello de Sinnamon….no lo descartes, que aunque hagan su gia de festivales (en ese caso Summercase tendra todas las papeletas), este vez tambien tendran que hacer conciertos en salas de españa. No les imagino en Vall D'Hebron o en el Madrid Arena, la verdad

Pues seria una pena. Es mi sello español favorito, y han sacado algunos de los mejores EPs de los ultimos años, como el de Bananas, el de Grabba Grabba Tape y, sobre todo, los de Campamento Ñec Ñec y Ensaladilla Rusa.
