Leones Humildes Hi Fi nos anuncian la celebración de la sesión mensual de reggae y dub "Dub Be Good", que tendrá lugar el próximo Jueves 14 de Diciembre en Be Good Club (C/Sancho de Ávila 78, frente a La Makabra, próximo a Razzmatazz, Metro: Marina L1, Glories L1 o Bogatell L4, Autobuses nocturnos: N0 y N11, Barcelona).
La sesión abarcará de 00:00 a 5:00, su precio será de 5 euros con consumición y habrá un puesto de cd´s, incienso y de alimentación vegetariana a disposición de los asistentes.

Habra una sesion DUB en Madrid, en el garito Ban balan que han abierto en la Latina, bar dedicado a la musica negra, muy acogedor y con una carta de comida repleta de platos funkeros y souleros. Os informare, un buen garito para despues de una mañana de rastro.

Nuevo disco de The Cure para mayo de 2007, en la onda del Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me "abordando tanto temas lúgubres como temas enérgicos y más comerciales". Tienen 33 temas para elegir, y hay rumores de disco doble.
La gira mundial arrancará en marzo.
Un disco doble de The Cure a estas alturas es como para montar un suicidio colectivo, fibers y xacobenses incluidos.

Desde luego, prefiero infinitamente un disco sencillo de The Cure con las mejores 14 canciones de esas 33, que miedo dan esta clase de consagrados cuando redescubren la Coca-Cola. Ejemplos de discos dobles que lastran lo que podría haber sido un magnífico álbum sencillo hay para aburrir…

Wilco reveal new album plans
The Grammy winners get set for a busy 2007Wilco are getting ready to release their sixth studio album next year.
The band have been busy working on the follow-up to 2004's Grammy winner 'A Ghost Is Born' at The Loft, their studio and homebase in Chicago. Longtime associate Jim O'Rourke will mix the still untitled, self-produced album in New York, with a May release tentatively scheduled.
O'Rourke, who recently moved to Japan after parting ways with Sonic Youth, has worked with the band on their previous two albums - 'A Ghost Is Born' and 2002's 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot'. He has also performed with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and drummer Glenn Kotche in their Loose Fur side project.
The band have performed a dozen new songs at their concerts over the last six months.
They are:

En todo caso Razzmatazz por aquello de Sinnamon….no lo descartes, que aunque hagan su gia de festivales (en ese caso Summercase tendra todas las papeletas), este vez tambien tendran que hacer conciertos en salas de españa. No les imagino en Vall D'Hebron o en el Madrid Arena, la verdad

Yes, LA GSSHAUS! has moved and its smile gets bigger with every step towards the city where there´s a "wanna be Frisco Bridge". I will post the address soon since I am not really sure how the street is called....mmm...yes, I cant remember. Sara knows though.
Whatever...so please DO NOT send promos, presents, records...to the old address because Jose wont answer any of the letters like I have been doing the past 2 years. OOPS!.

A los fantásticos LOST ACAPULCO les han robado topdo el material de su furgoneta cuando la tenían aparcada en una calle céntrica de Madrid. Hay diverso material robado entre el que destaca:
1 fender Jaguar + 1 bajo fender Jazzbas
1 fender CiclonSi alguién ve estas guitarras por ahí agradecerían enormemente el aviso.

Pues seria una pena. Es mi sello español favorito, y han sacado algunos de los mejores EPs de los ultimos años, como el de Bananas, el de Grabba Grabba Tape y, sobre todo, los de Campamento Ñec Ñec y Ensaladilla Rusa.

Segundo disco de Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
La banda neoyorquina editará "Some Loud Thunder" a mediados del próximo mes de enero.TEXTO: Guillermo de la Madrid 12/12/2006Clap Your Hands Say Yeah editarán su segundo trabajo el próximo 16 de enero en formato digital, y en cd dos semanas más tarde. El sucesor del álbum homónimo de debut de la banda neoyorquina llevará por título "Some Loud Thunder" y contendrá once nuevos temas.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah estarán de gira por Europa el próximo mes de febrero, pero de momento no se han confirmado fechas en España.
