Lead Singer of Boston, Dies at 55
ATKINSON, N.H. (March 9) - Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston, was found dead Friday in his home in southern New Hampshire. He was 55.
Atkinson police responded to a call for help at 1:20 p.m. and found Delp dead. Police Lt. William Baldwin said in a statement the death was "untimely" and that there was no indication of foul play.
Delp apparently was alone at the time of his death, Baldwin said.
The cause of his death remained under investigation by the Atkinson police and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner's office. Police said an incident report would not be available until Monday.
Delp sang vocals on Boston's 1976 hits "More than a Feeling" and "Longtime." He also sang on Boston's most recent album, "Corporate America," released in 2002.
He joined the band in the early 1970s after meeting Tom Scholz, an MIT student interested in experimental methods of recording music, according to the group's official Web site. The band enjoyed its greatest success and influence during its first decade.
The band's last appearance was in November 2006 at Boston's Symphony Hall.
On Friday night, the Web site was taken down and replaced with the statement: "We just lost the nicest guy in rock and roll."
A call to the Swampscott, Mass., home of Boston guitarist Barry Goudreau was not immediately returned Friday night.

jejeje pues dile al responsable que le de un poco de formato al texto, que son sólo 2-3 minutos, no es por nada pero esa masa de texto es ilegible y es una pena cuando la información es interesante.

Lou Reed y su Berlin se olvidan de España
El próximo 18 de junio, Lou Reed estrenará en Europa, concretamente en Bruselas, su interpretación íntegra de "Berlin", el mítico disco -segundo en solitario tras "Transformer"- que el neoyorquino editase en 1973. Reed ha anunciado nueve fechas europeas (en Bélgica, Holanda, Francia, Alemania, el Reino Unido e Italia) para un espectáculo que ya se estrenó el pasado diciembre en Estados Unidos y para el que el músico norteamericano cuenta en escena con no menos de treinta músicos, entre los que se cuenta su propia banda, un grupo de viento y un coro de niños. Entre las fechas confirmadas no hay, de momento, ninguna en nuestro país.
Las fechas en las que Lou Reed interpretará "Berlin" en Europa son las siguientes:

_Vuelve ABSOLUTZINE:
Absolut Zine es el fanzine online heredero del ABSOLUT versión papel, la publicación que entre 1996 y 2001 editó BCore para dar a conocer la actividad de las bandas de la escena punk-hardcore vinculadas al sello, ya fueran bandas de la propia discográfica o o bandas internacionales interesantes para sus redactores. El Absolut versión impresa dejó de hacerse, no por falta de interés sino por falta de tiempo para su elaboración, ya que cada lanzamiento del Absolut levantaba verdadero revuelo entre colaboradores, diseñadores, sellos patrocinadores, etc, y el esfuerzo requerido era demasiado grande para un sello que tenía que velar, ante todo, por el lanzamiento de sus discos.
En ese sentido, internet nos ha permitido reactivar nuestra red de colaboradores de una manera mucho más ágil y, ahora, cinco años después de su última edición impresa, llega el AbsolutZine renovado y con una interactividad que permite que podamos dedicarle parte de nuestros esfuerzos, con la ayuda de las personas que quieran dedicar una parte de su tiempo a contribuir a que volvamos a tener un fanzine de referencia en la escena underground.

_Arcade Fire Cancel Rest of Euro Tour
Win Butler is "sicker than a brick"The Arcade Fire pour every ounce of their hearts and souls into their live performances, but doing so comes with a price. Screaming and yelling and banging on instruments night after night for months on end is pretty physically grueling, and eventually, it's going to catch up to you (bodies being cages that keep you from dancing with the one you love and all).
Alas, yesterday (Saturday, March 24) in Oslo, Norway, Win Butler finally succumbed to the illness that has been dogging him for months, and the Arcade Fire decided to cancel the rest of their European tour. In an entry titled "heavy heart" posted in his diary on the band's website, Butler explains that he "ha ~~been suffering from a sinus and bronchial infection for the last 3 months, and last night in Stockholm I finally pushed my voice and body farther than they are able to go." (Read the full text of the diary post below)
Win's brother and bandmate Will Butler also weighed in on the situation in his web diary, saying "Win is sicker than a brick", and listing a "specific regret" for each city the band will be missing on the rest of the canceled tour, from Oslo to Lille, France. He also gives opening act Electrelane their own apology.
Hopefully, Win will be nice and healthy in time for the North American leg of the tour, which is set to kick off April 26.

Hello Friends,
I am backstage at the venue in Oslo and I just had to make the very sad decision to cancel the rest of the European tour. I have been suffering from a sinus and bronchial infection for the last 3 months, and last night in Stockholm I finally pushed my voice and body farther than they are able to go. Last night I kept yelling at the monitor guy because I didn't recognize the sound that was coming out of the monitor as my own voice, and it took me until the second song to realize that the sound was coming from me. Today I can barely speak, or make any sound, so finishing the shows is no longer possible.
I have had several doctors advise me to cancel shows weeks ago, and I have been trying to push through, but for my own health and safety I need to have sinus surgery so I can get better and start the recovery process. We are all very sad, because we were very much looking forward to playing these shows, and we could not imagine canceling a show unless it was physically impossible to do. We apologize to the fans that have been waiting to see us, and we promise to try and come back as soon as it is humanly possible…
We would like to thank everyone who has been coming to the shows, and the outpouring of love and support for our music that we have felt. Wish me luck with the doctors,
