Scarlett Johanson portada del RDL de mayo
Parece que cada X meses tengan que meter alguien de palo para subir las ventas como pasó con Coldplay, Courtney Love, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys…
No he escuchado nada de lo que se ha filtrado de su disco y, aunque lo que he leído sobre éste no es nada alentador, he fantaseado con verla en el Fòrum el mes que viene…

Lo que mola es el rollo de "ahora tenemos influencias latinas y grabamos en iglesias de Barcelona", jojojo. Luego será la misma mierda de siempre. Cada día más como el Bono otro que calienta cada lanzamientos con frases en plan "el nuevo es supersucio y garajero, punk-rock de venus". Hijodeputa.
Si no recuerdo mal el anterior tenia influencias de Kraftwerk, fijatetu.
Hombre, mas que influencia, tenia directamente un sampler de Krafwerk en uno de sus temas….

Lo digo mas que nada porque creo recordar que el tipo dijo cientos de veces que el disco estaba muy influenciado por Kraftwerk y los sonidos electronicos, y de eso luego nada como era de esperar. Lo del sampler ni idea, creo que el disco de marras lo escuché una vez y ya.

Yesterday's Love Music Hate Racism carnival at Victoria Park, London, was by all accounts a success. Hard-Fi and the Good, the Bad & the Queen played, spirits were high, music was loved and racism was hated. But the event would not have been able to happen at all were it not for a bail-out from Moz and his friends, it emerged this weekend. -

MORRISSEY, the pop singer and animal rights activist, has called for a boycott of the world's largest chimpanzee enclosure, which is due to open at Edinburgh Zoo next month.
The former frontman of the Smiths has claimed that keeping primates in captivity is cruel and has urged parents to take their children to their local abattoir instead “for a lesson that no kid would ever forget”.
Morrissey, a vegan who has previously backed violence by extremists against scientists and companies involved in medical research using animals, dismissed claims that the £6m Budongo Trail enclosure would help educate the public about the plight of chimpanzees in the wild and provide a stimulating environment for the animals.
“If the Budongo Trail at Edinburgh Zoo is such a stimulating highlight, then why don't the zoo staff live in it instead?” he said. “How long would they last without cracking up? An hour? Yet they expect the chimps to be delighted and buoyant? Would you be? People just cannot leave animals alone, can they?
“Animals survived quite well for millions of years without any human intervention, culling or incarceration. If parents want to take their kids to Edinburgh Zoo to learn something about animals, then they should take them along to a local abattoir instead to show them where their lovely food comes from - that's a lesson no kid would ever forget.”
In 2006, Morrissey said terror tactics were justified against those who conducted animal experiments because they had brought it upon themselves. He also singled out proudly carnivorous television chefs Jamie Oliver and Clarissa Dickson Wright as enemies of the animal rights movement.
Bosses at Edinburgh Zoo hope the enclosure will prove a popular attraction for the 650,000 visitors they receive each year and allow them to develop a successful breeding programme for captive primates.
Last week, Edinburgh Zoo defended the enclosure. “The Budongo Trail has been designed to provide an environment that will stimulate the primates, both indoors and out, and allow us to develop a successful breeding programme,” said David Windmill, chief executive of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, the zoo's owner.

Tiran más las peras de las Scarlett que todo el cartel del PS 2008, es obvio. Y si los reporteros del Carrillo no entran gratis siendo patrocinadores del segundo escenario más grande

Pues en esto la RDL es bastante imparcial dentro de lo que cabe. Peor es la Go Mag con el FIB y el Sonar, portada asegurada y especial de 40 páginas con los grupos del festival, aparte que al PS casi ni lo mencionan.

Es que creo que la Go Mag es la revista ''oficial'' del Sonar (cuando se celebra el festival, se entiende). O almenos un año lo fué, no estoy muy al tanto..

Fortunately for us, Hill couldn't quite quell his collaborative tendencies, and the record's long guest list is chock full of juicy names: Stern, Hella bandmates Carson McWhirter and Josh Hill, both members of No Age, Les Claypool, !!!/LCD Soundsystem's Tyler Pope, one-time Flying Luttenbacher and former Hella bandmate Jonathan Hischke, former Rx Bandits saxophonist Steve Borth, the Advantage's Robby Moncrieff, Marco Benevento, and Chino Moreno of Deftones, aka the best band ever (maybe an exaggeration but not a joke).

Scarlett Johansson and her boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, are engaged
The 23-year-old actress and the 31-year-old actor have not set a wedding date, Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, said Monday.
Johansson's recent credits include "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "The Nanny Diaries." Reynolds recently starred in "Definitely, Maybe." He was previously engaged to Alanis Morissette.
