The Next Stage of Deerhoof: Offend Maggie

Deerhoof have trotted out the news on their next album, due out on Kill Rock Stars on October 7th. The album title is Offend Maggie, and it will play host to 14 new phases of Deerhoof, divided into two acts (see track list below).
In the age of interactive song making, this is not enough. No, no! The band will soon be launching a web site with a "downloadable written score" of one of the songs on the album. What does this mean? Deerhoof is getting into the interactive songmaking bit with their fans. What song will it be? Nobody knows yet, but the band will let everyone know when the time comes. Do I like asking myself questions and then answering them? Not really, but now that we don't have Donald Rumsfeld to kick around anymore, somebody has to do it!
This will be the follow up to Deerhoof's 2007 album, Friend Opportunity.

TINDERSTICKS: THE HUNGRY SAW IN NORTH AMERICA
Constellation will be releasing the new Tindersticks album The Hungry Saw in North America. We have been very big fans of the group from their beginning in the mid 90s, and are thrilled to be making their excellent new record available in Canada and the United States.
A stellar return to form for the group after a five year hiatus, The Hungry Saw was recorded at lead man Stuart Staples' own Le Chien Chanceux studios in France. Staples is joined on the new album by original Tindersticks members Neil Fraser and David Boulter, along with a large cast of contributing musicians.
The record will be available in North America as a digital download in June/July, with the physical release on CD and deluxe 180gLP scheduled for 16 September. CD and vinyl formats will be issued in Constellation's premium paperboard packaging.
This release signifies a couple of "firsts" for Constellation; the first time we have released a record by a Europe-based artist, and the first time we have licensed a record for limited territorial release (the album is on Beggars Banquet in Europe). We are proud to be providing a home for yet another veteran artist at the forefront of highly literate and wholly original songcraft.

Como ocurre en otros sectores, los tiburones han hecho acto de presencia y han puesto nerviosos a los que llevan ya tiempo secando arcas municipales o vendiendo humo de modernidad mezclado con atracción turística. Algunos ven cómo su concepto tan bien visto por los oráculos de la prensa especializada cae ante la magnitud de la tragedia del negocio puro y duro. ATP are very pleased to announce the sequel to last year's fantastic RELEASE THE BATS Halloween event.
This year the event will take place at the same venue (London's Kentish Town Forum), on All Hallows Eve itself, October 31st, and the lineup so far looks like this:

There is a very special guest to be added to the bill so keep checking back for updates!
Like last year, we'd love it if you could come dressed as something inspired by one of the bands (Perhaps you could simulate some Pissed Jeans? Or arrive in a…Shjip?) or as something spooky to help us with creating the Halloween mood.The event will have a free flow between the upstairs and downstairs areas of the Forum so that everyone can move about throughout the evening.
Doors on the night will open at 6.30pm, tickets are priced at £22.50 in advance with more to be added to the already shockingly good lineup.

El problema es que a el las memeces le reportan más de 36.000€ y la publicidad añadida de la sentencia, probablmente colabore todavía más.
