Hay que entenderlo, al pobre bono. Ese escenario sólo lo llevan construyendo un par de semanas, no ha costado tanto, y habrá sacado del paró a un montón de gentes, como 20! Y total, no es para tanto, eso lo han construido adrede, pero adrede para el camp nou, eso no cabe en el Bernabeu u otros campos de fútbol, y no por que lo diga yo, que no he estado en otro, sino por gente que se sabe las medidas de memoria. Vamos que en los otros sitios habrán construido otros, por que además, coño haced cuentas: concierto diario, 2 semanas para montar el tinglado…
Además, que os pensabais, que todo este pollo es para las dos horas que dura el concierto? noooo, ignorantes, ¡Que son dos conciertos de dos horas! seguidos! que no habrá que desmontarlo ni nada!A que ahora no jode tanto?
Os falta por ver lo que van a hacer con ese matojo de leds… sube, baja y se abre como un puto acordeón!
Ui, y la mesa de sonido… Eso es como un escenario del primavera, pero hecho casa! Con toldo como una tienda de campaña, sus ventanitas, sus dos o tres salas (supongo que sonido + luces + audiovisuales).
Mi deducción: Montar un pollo enorme y a ver si la gente no se fija mucho en U2, que son lo de menos.
En fin, que me pongo y no paro.
He oído que eso luego lo da para que hagan una cabaña-iglesia en Madagascar.

Bands 'better because of piracy'

Music reporter, BBC NewsThe rise of illegal downloading has been good for the music scene, helping to create a generation of exciting new acts, according to US band Fleet Foxes.
File-sharing has been the scourge of record labels for the past decade.
But singer Robin Pecknold said it had made it easier for musicians, including him, to discover lots of classic music that has influenced and inspired them.
"As much music as musicians can hear, that will only make music richer as an artform," Pecknold told BBC News.
"I think we're seeing that now with tons of new bands that are amazing, and are doing way better music now than was being made pre-Napster."
The original Napster launched in June 1999 and became the first mass file-sharing service, sparking an ongoing battle between the music industry and popular but unlicensed song services.
Pecknold, 23, says his band, one of the success stories of 2008, would have been different had he not had access to Napster and similar music sources while growing up.
"That was how I discovered almost everything when I was a teenager - my dad brought home a modem," he said.
"That was how I was exposed to almost all of the music that I love to this day, and still that's the easiest way to find really obscure stuff.
"I've discovered so much music through that medium. That will be true of any artist my age, absolutely."
Brian Wilson's Smile and The Zombies' Odessey and Oracle were among the albums he discovered through the service, he said.
Record companies argue that piracy means people buy less music, which in turn means the labels have less money to spend on developing new acts.
The music industry has been hit hard in the last 10 years, with global album sales down more than 50% since 1999 - and the blame largely aimed at file-sharing.
Complaints 'disgusting'
But Pecknold said he did not object to file-sharing. **"I've downloaded hundreds and hundreds of records - why would I care if somebody downloads ours? That's such a petty thing to care about.
"I mean, how much money does one person need? I think it's disgusting when people complain about that, personally."**
Fleet Foxes' self-titled debut album was released last June and was named best album of 2008 by Billboard, The Times, Mojo, Pitchfork and Uncut.
The harmonic Seattle folk rock five-piece also earned two Brit Award nominations at the start of the year.
Their slow-burning success continued as the album peaked at number three in the UK chart in February.
On Thursday, the group beat Leonard Cohen and Radiohead to be named best live act at the Mojo magazine awards in London._

_Pioneering New Zealand rock musician Chris Knox is in hospital after suffering a stoke on Thursday.
Knox, 56, one of the founders of iconic independent music label Flying Nun, was in Auckland Hospital, Radio New Zealand reported.
His best known songs include the hit Not Given Lightly.
Knox is also known as a writer and cartoonist.
A family spokesperson said Knox's partner and children are focusing on his recovery._

Defunct El Paso band At The Drive-In have been in talks to reform, according to their former singer Cedric Bixler-Zavala.
The band split in 2001, with Bixler-Zavala subsequently forming prog-rock band The Mars Volta with fellow At The Drive-In guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López.
Now the singer has said that he has been in discussions with the band's former members, and has suggested that they could get back together after they sort their financial business out.
"We've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them," he told Drowned In Sound. "We've been trying to get our financial business in order because a lot of people have been ripping off that band really badly."
He added: "I wouldn't mind it [a reformation]. It might happen, we just have to iron out a lot of personal things. A lot of it we've dealt with already and I've apologised for a lot of things I've said and the way it ended… we'll see what happens."

Lo del hippismo lo veo más que nada porque algunos de stos grupos viven juntos.
Pero sin duda la cosa va un poco de avanzar gracias a la ayuda de uno y del otro. -
Está bien saberlo de primera mano, ya sabemos que la prensa a veces magnifica las cosas.

Los vi en directo hacía el 2001 y flojo o flojísimo. Estaban en horas muy bajas.
Espero que el retorno sea para hacer buenos directos como algunos apuntaban cuando vinieron a Sant Feliu por 300 pelas. -
Los Planetas tocarán en un festival de este verano

La noticia ha llegado así: “Los Planetas confirman su actuación en uno de los festivales de este verano“. No se desvelan más incógnitas, ni posibles nombres ni fechas… Sólo se dice que dentro de poco llegará la buena nueva en forma de confirmación oficial.
Pero es que ahí no acaba el soplo desde El Volcán Música, desde donde informan que Los Planetas tocarán algunos de los nuevos temas en ese directo. Los granadinos están finalizando su nuevo álbum, el cuál se publicará después de verano.
Por ahora, la noticia informa hasta ahí. Nos han puesto los dientes largos muy bien. Las hipótesis ya pueden empezar a formularse. La mía es que ese festival será el FIB Heineken, ya que no hay ninguno tan grande de aquí a final de verano, pero quién sabe… Seguiremos informando.

yo vi a ATDI en el sidecar cuando el bcore todavía montaba conciertos y fue increible, antes del "relationship of command" o como se llame. no los conocía nadie porque el disco no lo había pillado nadie y además era de un sello muy pequeño y fue una sorpresa monumental, nos volaron la cabeza a todos, en especial los dos pelusas. éramos no más de 50 tios. luego tocaron en zeleste 3, estuvo bastante bien pero menos y luego en garatge que fue la peste (supongo que maurici vio este)

yo vi a ATDI en el sidecar cuando el bcore todavía montaba conciertos y fue increible, antes del "relationship of command" o como se llame. no los conocía nadie porque el disco no lo había pillado nadie y además era de un sello muy pequeño y fue una sorpresa monumental, nos volaron la cabeza a todos, en especial los dos pelusas. éramos no más de 50 tios. luego tocaron en zeleste 3, estuvo bastante bien pero menos y luego en garatge que fue la peste (supongo que maurici vio este)

sí, he visto el video de ese concierto en sidecar (se lo cambió el boliche a un colega por el de los get up kids en mephisto) yo por desgracia me los perdí y me tuve que conformar con verlos en un garatge a reventar gracias a los putos mamones del mondo sonoro. prefiero mil veces los directos de mars volta, aunque sólo sea por la duración de los bolos.

vaya decepción de concierto el de garatge y mira que les tenía ganas en aquel momento
