ALL IS WILD, ALL IS SILENT REMIXES
Over the past 6 months we have been working with some dear friends and have compiled a recording of 11 artists remixing the song of their choice from the album. Each artist was given the session files and let loose to create or recreate the piece of their choice. The results are wonderfully varied and each quite amazing. Being released in August on Western Vinyl digitally and limited run of 2XLP, the album features: Eluvium, Rafael Anton Irisarri, Tiny Vipers, Bexar Bexar, Machinefabriek, The Fun Years, Library Tapes, Jacaszek, Helios, Peter Broderick and Xela.TRACK LIST

ahora que comentas esto, haceros la idea de que si Radiohead vienen al PSound 2010, tocará ir cargando toda la santa tarde/noche/madrugada por el Fòrum con el vaso de plástico reutilizable, como en el Daydream.
como broma está bien pero creía que quedó claro que lo del vasito fue cosa de sinnamon, yo les vi varias veces el año pasado y sólo hubo vasitos en barcelona, y que de hecho eso se repitió en todos sus "festivales" ese verano (se ve que tenían excedente).
coñe, pues lo vendieron en plan "mira qué concienciados y ecologistas son Radiohead"

bueno, es que radiohead sí que intentaron minimizar su impacto medioambiental en la última gira (con lo de las luces led de bajo consumo por ejemplo) así que la idea cuadraba y seguro que la idea les cameló y tal, pero creo que lo de los vasos no salió del grupo como otras cosas (los stands de oxfam y friends of the earth por ejemplo).
y muy mal lo del pobre willy deville, el cáncer de páncreas es de los peores que hay y casi nadie se salva

It's true, we're not playing shows right now BUT we for sure did not break up. I just haven't felt like being in an active band for the past couple years. I was on the 'playing shows and making records' treadmill for over 17 years and that is a long time to do the same thing over and over and over again. Like that movie Groundhog's Day, I eventually needed to wake up and have it not be the same day._

Frank Black and co will play two nights at the Dublin Olympia, four at the O2 Academy Brixton in London and one at the Glasgow SECC.
The gig run will be named the 'Doolittle' tour to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of that album.
Pixies will play all the songs that feature on the album and its related b-sides at the shows.
The band are set to release a new career-spanning box set, 'Minotaur', in September. They played an impromptu live gig in London earlier this month at an exhibition of the set's artwork

tiene pinta que no se van a pasar por españa a menos que sea en un festival que les suelte una buena morterada.
por cierto, para mi los pixies son un grupo que puede tocar lo que les de la gana. todos y cada uno de sus temas son grandes éxitos.

El diseño del single se trata de una funda de tela en 4 colores a la que se incorporan dos chapas, una con el nombre del single, "I Love Diploide", y otra con un icono del sello.
