Ayer me dijo un pajarito que dos tiendas de la cadena Castelló tienen previsto su cierre en fecha muy próxima. Las tiendas son las situadas al lado mismo del Mercat de Santa Caterina y la histórica de la calle Talles junto a la Plaça Universitat. Antes de este cierre, se prevé la liquidación de todo el material (tanto sonoro como visual) a precios realmente muy interesantes (ahora mismo, la de Tallers ofrece unos descuentos de hasta el 30%).
Después de esto, Ovestocks y la dedicada a la música clásica serán las supervivientes, aunque no está ni mucho menos segura la continuidad de la primera. No creo que la segunda corra peligro alguno, al menos sobre el papel. -

yo particularmente nunca he comprado mucho en castelló, aunque me jodería que cerrasen. -
pues yo compré hace poco en castelló y en el apartado de segunda mano, entre la morralla, tenían cosicas antiguas interesantes entre 1 y 5 pavos. ya avisaréis cuando hagan liquidación para ir a saquear el garito!

La próxima a Pza. Unversidad anunció su cierre hace seis meses o algo así, pero ha seguido abierta. Esta, en concreto, no guarda relación con el resto porque son diferentes dueños. Disputas familiares, tenemos entendido.

It leads to cool onstage collaborations and crazy interviews. And now, his affability has enticed Animal Collective's Noah Lennox (aka Panda Bear) and Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier to chip in with guest shots on the upcoming Atlas Sound LP, dubbed Logos and due out October 20 via Kranky.

Legendary postpunk act Mission of Burma will release its third post-reunion album, The Sound, The Speed, The Light, on Oct. 6, Matador Records revealed today.
The label made the announcement, and unveiled the record’s cover art, via a poster it posted on the Matablog this afternoon for the band’s Sunday gig in New York with labelmates Fucked Up. (And for fans of the latter act, the poster also makes note of a “compilation album” due Nov. 3.)
The band — which also is performing tonight in Northampton, Mass. — recorded the album in March, and although a tracklist has not yet been unveiled, possible song titles that have surfaced online, including on the band’s in-studio blog, are “Blunder,” “Good Cheer,” “Slow Faucet,” “Comes Undone,”, “Forget Yourself,” “After the Rain,” “Innermost,” “The Sound, The Speed, The Light,” “One Day We Will Live There” and “Monkey Boy.”
The band, which broke up in 1983 after releasing an EP and one album, reformed in 2002, and subsequently issued ONoffON in 2004 and The Obliterati in 2006. With the forthcoming release of The Sound, The Speed, The Light, Mission of Burma now is more prolific — and, arguably, better — in its latter career than in its initial go-around in the ’80s.
