Noticias sobre la reedicion del Ladies & Gentlemen de Spiritualized…
The re-issue is now scheduled for the second half of November, exact release date is tbc.The artwork has changed, some of the packaging is similar to the original release.
**There will be 3 formats released:
Ltd Collectors Edition - 12 disc pill pack + 2 additional cd's of previously unreleased material in new artwork.
Deluxe pack - 3 cd's in one blister pill pack. The original album plus the 2 additional cd's of unreleased material.
Standard jewel case of the original album in new artwork. The old design will no longer be manufactured.**
Additional cd track listings information to follow. Pack shots of new design available nearer release date.

Bueno, aun asi mas barata que la edicion de hace 12 años, por la que pague bastante mas de esas 80 libras el año pasado por ebay… desde luego, me pienso hacer con ella.

Y sí, ganacas tengo ya de disco nuevo. Por noviembre o eso venían a Bcn no es así? Tengo que ir como sea.la y griega está al lado de la u en el teclado. y el batería de los lullabye toca en Do Make Say Think (la guitarra si no me equivoco).
y recomiendo los lullabye arkestra, ruacanroll soulerizado y unas miajas de jevimetal (por odin!). Como si los white stripes cambiaran el bajo por la guitarra y doble de clases extras de batera (con queso, claro), se fueran a tocar a un garaje con olor a sobaco con la presencia de amigos borrachuzos que tocan la trompeta (y otras hierbas), organos, saxos. Como unos make up algo más cafres y sin peinar.

Yo tambien la tengo. Pero lo que me parece chungo es que ahora que la reeditan digan que no se va a volver a fabricar, cuando se supone que la edicion original era limitada, o sea que cuando se acabe no hay mas.

Me referia a la edicion de 12 discos de 3"…. lo comente en su momento, me deje un pastizal escandalosamente escandaloso. En concreto esta:
Tambien tengo la edicion especial "normal", con 1 CD, de cuando salio (igual es a la que te refieres tu). Ese debe valer algo de dinero, aunque en mi caso esta abierta para poder oir el cd, seguro que el valor mengua, cosas de los coleccionistas…

As many of you know by now, Converge will be releasing their long-awaited new studio album, "Axe To Fall," on October 20th via Epitaph Records (with vinyl to be issued by Deathwish Inc.).
The effort was recorded by guitarist Kurt Ballou at this Godcity studios in Salem, MA and features guest appearances from a host of notables, including Steve Brodsky (Cave In), Adam McGrath (Cave In), J.R. Connors (Cave In, Doomriders), Uffe Cederlund (Disfear, ex-Entombed), John Pettibone (The Vows, Himsa), Steve Von Till (Neurosis), and Mookie Singerman (Genghis Tron).

R.E.M. LIVE AT THE OLYMPIA COMING THIS OCTOBER!
October 26 is the release date of R.E.M. LIVE AT THE OLYMPIA, a two-CD set on Warner Bros Records, featuring 39 songs from the band's 2007 working rehearsals in Dublin, Ireland.
"Live At The Olympia" captures R.E.M. in uncharted territory. Over the course of their one week residency at the stately Olympia Theatre in Ireland's capital city, the band (for the first time in their storied career) tested new material in front of audiences prior to releasing the songs on record. The capacity crowds in attendance, including fan club members, friends, family, and fans from all over the globe, were party to R.E.M.'s aptly dubbed "experiment in terror." "We were just trying to do something we hadn't done before," said guitarist Peter Buck, "which meant there was no relaxing during the set. Every second we were playing something we didn't know all that well. Which was kind of good… there were all kinds of terror elements going on during that show."
The live album was produced by Dublin native Jacknife Lee who, along with R.E.M., co-produced Accelerate, the album which emerged from these shows. Most of the eleven songs on Accelerate appeared in some form or fashion at the Dublin rehearsals.
In addition to the new material, R.E.M. reached into their back catalog and played twenty-nine other songs, some of them rarely if ever performed. The lion's share of these songs came from the band's IRS years, ranging from Chronic Town to Document.
A special edition 2 CD & DVD set will contain a film of the Dublin rehearsals by Vincent Moon and Jeremiah, who previously worked with R.E.M. on Ninetynights, Six Days, and the video for Supernatural Superserious.
