James Mercer (The Shins) y Danger Mouse empiezan aventura conjunta: Broken Bells
To be clear, this is not just a "produced by Danger Mouse" one-off thing. Mercer and the Mouse are apparently in it for the long haul and already have plans extending past their first album. The pair recently collaborated on the Danger Mouse/Sparklehorse album Dark Night of the Soul. Our review hailed the Mercer track, "Insane Lullaby", as "one of the finest moments on the album."

yo lo leí proque van hacer uno de los últimos conciertos en Cardiff en un festival que se llama SWN que tiene una idea similar al nuevo PC en cuanto a salas…

El próximo 13 de noviembre ya estará disponible el tercer disco de Ainara LeGardon, el mismo día que presenta en Madrid sus nuevos temas acompañada por Alfons Serra (Nisei) a la batería y Javier Díez-Ena (Dead Capo, Aaron Thomas) al contrabajo y theremin.
Llevará por título "Forgive me if I don't come home to sleep tonight" y está grabado en su propio estudio, Hambre y Ganas, apostando una vez más por la autogestión y el DIY. Se trata de un trabajo más crudo y desnudo que sus predecesores -“In the mirror” y “Each day a lie”-, sin artificios, fraguado a fuego lento a lo largo de los últimos cuatro años.
Los asistentes al concierto de Madrid podrán adquirir su entrada + CD por 15 € (o entrada sola por 9 €). No habrá puntos de venta anticipada, pero podéis efectuar vuestras reservas en info@winslowlab.com.
Las entradas para el concierto de Barcelona se pondrán a la venta a partir del lunes 2 de noviembre en el Heliogàbal. En esta ocasión el concierto será en formato dúo, junto a Alfons Serra a la batería.

Tom Waits Confirms Glitter and Doom Live, Reveals Release Date
The official word has now come down from the man himself — Tom Waits will be releasing a live album on November 24 from his “Glitter and Doom” tour.
The album will be called, conveniently enough, Glitter and Doom Live, according to an interview with Waits on CBC Radio, and already the record is up for pre-order over at Amazon.
"Okay, Glitter and Doom, that's the title," Waits told the CBC's Jian Ghomeshi in a recent interview. "Now I really feel like a huckster. Yeah, it's coming out at Thanksgiving… A lot of applause, followed by a song, and after the song there's more applause, and then there's a song. And it goes like that all the way through." Ah, Tom, you old huckster, you.
As we previously told you, a photographer working on the project leaked word of the release late last month. But until now there had been no official confirmation that a live release from the successful European and short Midwestern U.S. tour was on the way, though Anti- confirmed to Exclaim! that the album was forthcoming.
A tracklisting for Glitter and Doom Live has yet to be released.
