Hace un par de años un promotor me pidió unas grabaciones piratas porque Patton le había ofrecido traer el proyecto a Barcelona, pero la cosa no cuajó, probablemente por cuestiones de pasta. Lástima, porque en directo tiene que dar gustito.

a mí lo de mondo cane me hace gracia, pero lo que me molaría sería la big band melvins/fantomas. el video del concierto de londres que sacó ipecac el año pasado era tremends.

_With the infectious tones of "Round and Round" still causing a stir online, Los Angeles' Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti have confirmed details of their debut album for 4AD. Entitled Before Today, the record consists of twelve tracks (including the aforementioned single "Round And Round") and will be released worldwide on June 8th 2010 on CD, LP and digital formats.
Six months in the making, Before Today was recorded in part in Encino at the House of Blues (once Tito Jackson's home studio) with Sunny Levine (Quincy Jones' grandson) and Rik Pekkonen (Bill Withers, Seals & Crofts, Bread) as well as at the band's home studios. The result is a beguiling mix of glam rock, West Coast funk and Merseybeat harmonies with a high-production sheen; a contrast to the corroded bedroom recordings that have fomented a fervent cult following over the past decade.
The outfit, now consisting reclusive pop surrealist Ariel Pink (vocals) alongside Tim Koh (bass/vocals), Kenny Gilmore (guitar/vocals) and Aaron Sperske (drums/vocals) will tour Europe this summer (details to follow) and have confirmed a headlining show at New York City's Mercury Lounge on May 4th (tickets available HERE).

Prior to the album, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti will release "Round And Round" (backed with "Mistaken Wedding") as a limited edition 7" and digital download single on April 26th. nobody had heard it up until a few days ago except for neil gaiman (my man) and tom dickins (my dear australian friend)…i played it for them in my house right after i wrote it.
they liked it, so i’m gonna give it to you…BECAUSE I CAN. (can you visualize me doing my happy crack dance as i write this??)

when we signed with you in 2004, i was a wreck of a human being because I was working too hard to juggle business-ing and musician-ing.
i wasn’t sleeping much and i was on the phone and at the post office and on the computer all day every day. it sucked.
technically it was good because it meant people liked my music, but it was also very bad, because it meant my life was consumed by wheeling and dealing.
i tried running my own label and it was so, so hard, and finding time and energy to run a label AND a touring rock band proved impossible.

IT'S OFFICIAL
ROGER WATERS WILL BE TOURING THE WALLAmid all the speculation and all the rumor and all the gossip for the last 4 months, Mark Fenwick, Roger's manager has announced that The Wall tour which Roger and his management have been alluding to since last December, is definitely happening.
At this date, Mark Fenwick is being rather tight lipped about any details, however he did let the REG Fanclub know that full details of the tour would be revealed on Roger Waters' website; http://www.rogerwaters.com on April 12th at 2 PM Eastern Standard Time (US).
Definitely exciting news for all Roger Waters fans. Now we'll just have to try to wait... with baited breath through the next 6 days!!
Full details will also be posted on the REG website (of course) the evening of the 12th and of course an email of the details will be going out to all our fanclub members.
This portends to be a tour unmatched by anyone, one for rock'n'roll history, so get your tickets early!
