Soy presa de la excitación, ayer viendo un prospecto de la programación de otoño del Barbican (básicamente música clásica) porque ando persiguiendo a Phillip Glass antes de que palme, jeje, me encontré con un concierto muy especial.
Tampoco sabía que sacaban disco pero resulta que Efterklang tocará el 30 de octubre con una orquesta de 40 músicos su nuevo album, Piramida, que resulta que sale en 4AD el 25 de setiembre.
Yo ya me hecho caquita.

¿Has leido a Manrique con lo de los Stones y el fisco?

Sí, y es curioso cómo Manrique -del que soy muy fan- patina a veces con los Stones. Para empezar, Keith reside oficialmente en Connecticut y Jagger en Londres. Esos temas los resolvieron hace años. Por otra parte, todo el entramado de empresas (Promopub B.V.) está localizado en los Países Bajos gracias a su permisividad con el Impuesto de Sociedades, algo que ocurre también en Irlanda.
Yo soy fan a muerte de los Stones, pero no tengo ninguna razón para creer que sean buenas personas. Después de más de 20 años de leer cosas suyas, tengo la sensación de que Manrique les guarda rencor por algún desplante y el hombre ha llegado al extremo de tergiversar la biografía de Keith diciendo algo que ahí no sale.
Claro que nunca habrá nada tan ridículo como Rosa Montero, que entrevista a Mick y al salir de la habitación es requerida por el management de Keith para que haga lopropio con el guitarrista. La buena mujer creyó que se trataba de un ataque de celos y de las cosas del liderazgo y bla bla bla, cuando en estos casos los entrevistados apenas saben con quién están hablando.
