Material delirante y emotivo, pero no simultáneamente; parte de la grandeza del álbum es ese alternarse entre los temazos de Barlow y los inventos frikis de Loewenstein. Sería enorme poder ver esto.

Con la maravillosa discografía que tienen estos tios, mejor ver un repaso de su carrera en directo… y tener el efecto sorpresa a cada canción...

Bondi will publish the DVD under an exclusive licensing arrangement with Wenner Media, the closely held parent of Rolling Stone.

Andrew Weatherall da inicio a la colección Sci Fi Lo Fi que es prima hermana de la serie del mismo sello Sci Fi Hi Fi pero más centrada en clásicos imperecederos que pueden llevarnos hasta décadas pasadas pero no menos maravillosas como los 50’s y los 60’s. T-Rex, The Fall, Gene Vincent, The Cramps, Primal Scream se mezclan en este fabuloso mix con algunos temas contemporáneos como Feathers, incluido originalmente en el el maxi The Bullet Catcher's Apprentice que editó el año pasado en Rotters Golf Club.

bueno bueno bueno… los de Renascent se lo curran a base de bé... tiempo atrás ya comenté lo de esta discográfica de londres que se dedica a reeditar en CD discos british de los '80s bien descatalogados, que nunca existieron para el mercado comercial o sencillamente se lo curran con unas b-sides + letras+ foticos... empezaron fuerte con comsat angels, the sound y the wild swans... y he visto hace poco que ahora reeditan como dios manda los dos primeros de house of love (álbumes ambos chunguísimos de encontrar en su versión original con los temas que aparecieron en su momento -sobretodo el primero editado solo en alemania-) y rescatan del olvido a los Woodentops con unas john peel sessions... toma ya! y encima estan vivito y coleando ambos... she she she shine on!!
edito: me invade la nostalgia... hacía como 10 años que no tocaba los 4 que tengo del mueble... siempre me cautivó ese del '90 recopilatorio de singles de color gris plateado chungo con foto de perro con ray ban + pañuelo y los libracos + winston que lo acompañan... aquí dejo esta mágica christine...

_Paulina Rubio se reunirá con su antiguo grupo
La cantante mexicana se encontrará el próximo domingo con Timbiriche, el grupo al que perteneció durante una década cuando era una adolescente, en la cadena de televisión latinoamericana Televisa. Sasha, Benny, Diego, Alix, Erick y Mariana protagonizan un reality llamado 'Buscando a Timbiriche, la nueva banda', donde un grupo de expertos y los propios cantantes eligen a quienes podrían ser sus relevos. Los 'Timbiriches', a excepción de Paulina y Thalía -quien también perteneció a la banda- volvieron a unirse este año para festejar el 25 aniversario de la creación del grupo con una gira por todo México, a la que ambas cantantes no pudieron unirse debido a sus compromisos profesionales como solistas._

Radiohead shock-release seventh album through website
'In Rainbows' is out in 10 days and YOU decide how much to pay
After a false alarm, believed to be a hoax, Radiohead have officially revealed their seventh album is ready, and will be available for download in just ten days' time.In a shock announcement on their official website today (September 30), a message from guitarist Jonny Greenwood read
"Hello everyone. Well, the new album is finished, and it's coming out in 10 days; We've called it In Rainbows. Love from us all. Jonny"
As if that news wasn't a big enough bombshell, the band have not set a price for the download version of the album, leaving the 'price' field blank and letting the customer decide how much to pay for the release.
Greenwood's message linked to this site where the album has been made available to pre-order as a download and a discbox. The download version will be available on October 10, while the discbox will be ready to ship on or before December 3.
The discbox contains the new album 'In Rainbows' on CD, and on two 12" heavyweight vinyl records. There is also a second enhanced CD containing more new songs, along with digital photographs and artwork. The set also includes lyric booklets and all are encased in a hardback book and slipcase.

Todas estas canciones llevan meses tocándolas en directo, y alguien se tomó la molestia de recopilarlas (se oyen bastante bien) en un archivo rar. Si a alguien le interesa, miraría de subirlo esta noche.
Y aunque Radiohead no sea muy bien recibido por aquí (yo admito que fué uno de los primeros grupos que me obsesionó) dado lo pesados y hasta odiosos que llegan a ser sus fans, hay que reconocer que es una iniciativa cojonuda. Que un grupo de ventas millonarias haga esto es de aplaudir.
