The Biel Ballester trio plays a very distinct, original form of jazz, as their music appears to be a mixture of many different genres: Manouche gipsy jazz (as originated Django Reindhardt), Mediterranean traditional music, European classical music and, obviously, American jazz, mixed with Rockabilly, pop music and even Japanese and Chinese traditional music.
