¿Nadie fue a Atomic?
Ayer se marcaron dos sets (de cincuenta minutos cada uno, aprox., es decir un buen rato) bombásticos y brutales. Un quinteto como dios manda, con espacio para que todos se luzcan sin perder la unidad (quizás los más contenidos, considerando su potencial, fueron Håker Flaten y Nilssen-Love, aunque ya se lucieron con espacio hace casi nada con The Thing). Broo y Ljungkvist particularmente excelentes. Los temas del nuevo disco (del cual tocaron, que recuerde, "HCE", "Panama", "Morphemes" y "Upflog") sonaron cojonudos e incluso avanzaron material nuevo.

Yo no fui a Zenon al final, se me pasó. Alguna crítica para ver q tal fue???
Sí fui a Atomic, el primer día. Estaba dudoso de ir pq ya los había visto varias veces y temía el efecto "más de lo mismo", pero al final una invitación de un colega me llevó hasta allí. Y la verdad es que sí, más de lo mismo, pero cuando lo mismo es Atomic y en la distancia corta de La Cova está asegurado un concierto de alto copete. Hicieron sólo un set (creo q estaban cansados del viaje) q fue de menos a más y acabó con energía desbordante. Muy bien.

For their third album Mats Gustafsson, Johan Berthling and Andreas Werliin team up with Oren Ambarchi, a true explorer of the guitar, "re-routing the instrument into a zone of alien abstraction where it´s no longer easily identifiable as itself" as The Wire once wrote. As with Jim O´Rourke on the previous album this is not a mere guest appearance, Ambarchi is fully intergrated as a member making this a glorious monster of a record. With their heavy, hypnotic, psychedelic rock´n´jazz explorations they have carved out a monumental and different sound than any of the projects they are normally associated with.

Aunque algo impreciso y pude que no del todo definitivo, los chicos de Arco y Flecha tienen algunos conciertos interesantes (en españa) colgadas en su web.

Pues es una hermosura, y tengo cuatro de esos discos, todos ellos magníficos, pero está agotada la cajita. Tampoco es de extrañar.
