La verdad es que, aún siendo Güero su álbum más flojo con diferencia, el año pasado barrió en Metrorock, sobre todo con el set acústico acompañado de su banda sentada a un lado del escenario mientras comían y bebían, para acabar haciendo la percusión con huesos de aceituna metidos en una lata de coca-cola. Todo ello con "Everybody´s Gotta Learn Sometimes" incluido.

Pues yo me quedo con el Mutations, que además lo tengo firmadito, jeje,…y luego, posiblemente, con ese Odelay que también está lleno de buenos temas. El Sea Changes es un disco de los que hay que escuchar bastantes veces, yo creo que muy influenciado por Air y en general me deja muy muy bien, aunque sea el más diferente de toda su carrera.
Mutations es el segundo que más me gusta después de Odelay como decía antes.
Sin duda tienes razón que es una gran obra. Yo no lo tengo firmado
pero si que lo escucho bastante/mucho.
Lo de las influencias de Air no me había dado cuenta. -
Beck puso las voces en alguna canción de Air ese mismo año y luego sacó el Sea Changes, yo creo que influenciado por estos o ayudado, ya que en canciones como Around the bend se ve muy claro.

Marlango y Soulfly juntos, este año primero y último, en este país no proliferan este tipo de festivales.
Y sí que sobra el dinero en este país, pero el negro y nada mejor que un festival para blanquearlo.

Hip hop with a spark
Two edgy hip hop acts are added to the Roskilde '06 programme: pioneering artist Pharoahe Monch and upcoming duo Up Hygh.
This year's hip hop profile at Roskilde Festival is further sharpened with the addition of Pharoahe Monch (US) and Up Hygh (S).
Pharoahe Monch is a confident and headstrong rapper with a repertoire that speaks loud and clearly. Along with Prince Poetry, he fronted legendary underground act Organized Konfusion. But Pharoahe Monch also works well on his own.
Pharoahe Monch released his critically acclaimed solo debut Internal Affairs in 1999, containing the track "Simon Says," his biggest hit to date. His follow-up Desire has already started quite a buzz - despite the fact that it has not even been released yet. Lots of major labels have offered to release it, and it will not be long before all expectations are fulfilled. Also at Roskilde Festival which is among the first places where you can hear the brand new sounds from one of the most exciting hip hop exponents.
Up Hygh is a Swedish duo with Detroit soul in their bloodstream. The two young lads, Pure P and Rick Skizzo, produce a self-assured mixture of raw hip hop, groovy funk and soulful R'n'B. The debut album, The Venus Album, came out earlier this year and it shows a forward-looking and youthful experience with music history on the turntables. How hygh? So hygh that I can kiss the sky!
Nordic by Nature
Up Hygh is the final name in a row of promising and upcoming Nordic hip hop acts presented by Roskilde Festival under the headline "Nordic by Nature." For the fourth year in a row, Nordic by Nature focuses on the sprouting hip hop genre. This year we present the following four acts in one slot at the Pavilion Junior stage:Chris Lee (N) / Nemo (DK) / Pede B (DK) / Up Hygh (S)

Yo estuve el año pasado en el poparb y nos lo pasamos de muerte. Muy recomendable hacer un viajecito a Arbúcies…
