    SHUTTLE BUS
    So, for those of you planning on coming by train, here is an update on the shuttle bus from Salisbury station to the festival at Larmer Tree Gardens.
    The bus service will start around 9am on Friday 12th September and run through the day until mid evening. There will also be a few trips on Saturday morning.

    For your return journey, there will be a few buses on Sunday afternoon and evening, as well as from Monday morning at 6am onwards.

    If you want to use the shuttle bus, we need you to email us with your arrival day and time, as well as departure to go back.

    The email address for this purpose is endoftheroadshuttle@gmail.com

    All we need is:

    • your name

    • your arrival day and time

    • how many of you there are

    • which day and time you want to leave the site, to go back

    This will help us to estimate the demand for the service, and avoid long delays. Your email address will be ticked off on arrival, to get on the bus.
    Those who turn up without having emailed us will be helped as much as possible, but will have to wait until the others have gone. And that may mean a lengthy delay.

    The bus will come to Salisbury Station. The trip to Larmer Tree is about 40 minutes.
    The bus fare is £6 return, payable on the bus in cash.

    There is an alternative to our bus - hiring a cab or minibus from a Salisbury taxi company, which might help if you don't want to wait at a busy time or just want to get there quickly.

    Ethical Taxis (good name, huh?) have lived up to their name and will do a special for us at £30 from the station to the festival and they can take up to 6 people.

    Another firm is Affinity Travel on tel: 01722 744 040, and they can carry up to 6 at a time and charge about £40 one way.

    Then there is Bob Thompson Minibus Hire - he'll do a 15 seater one way trip for £50 - which is great value if there are enough of you! His number is 01722 743 591.

    Sí que lo he recibido. El caso es que todavía no hay horarios, no? Lo digo para comunicarles una hora a los autobuseros. Pasaremos la noche anterior en Salisbury, a ver si nos detienen o algo.
    Por cierto, menudo robo el shutlle a 6 pounds, qué hijosdeputa. Si montan un festival in the middle of nowhere, hubiese sido todo un detallazo, que la lanzadera desde la ciudad más cercana fuera gartuita o al menos económica. Joder, es que estamos hablando de 8 eurazos de ida y 8 eurazos de vuelta.

    La verdad es que es un sablazo importante, casi sus sale igual que el taxi.
    De los horarios ni idea, tienen que estar al caer digo yo. Yo me voy a ir lo mas pronto que pueda para colonizar con la tienda el lugar mas elevado que pueda encontrar. Una companera de curro estuvo en el GreenMan y me dijo que en estos campings de festivales los monticulos se valoran mucho cuando llueve. Tambien me dijo que normalmente ella ha ido la noche de antes y no hay problema para acampar un dia antes.

    Espero que no se haya comentado en exceso en algún otro lado y me lleve un ben&bruno. Por si acaso pido disculpas porque llevo unos días sin seguir el foro. Bueno, ahí va:

    El RDL Music Weekend no se celebrará. Parece ser que por desaveniencias entre los organizadores (RDL y Houston Party), más info en la RDL de septiembre. Por tanto los conciertos de Oldham Brothers se van a tomar por culo, de momento. Aquí en Mallorca están intentando salvar la fecha. Veremos cómo acaba todo.
