clare hubbard (“caethua”) creates haunted movements, encompassing scapes of "coldness" and comfort, throughout this LP with each sorrowful ballad surrounded by terms/phrases of meditation and experimental sound collages using saxophone, singing bowls, electronics, guitars, bells, water, and recordings made while on a boat trip traveling throughout the length of the st. lawrence river. dark ambient psychedelic folk.

Exacto.
Le empezaron a llamr "shoegazer" porque este tipo de grupos usan un monton de distintos pedales para sacar ese sonido a las guitarras, por lo que tienen que tocar pisando peadales constantemente, y de ahi a tocar mirando a los pedales ( pies) todo el tiempo.

As with most of Toddla T's mixing board meddlings, despite the inclusion of all the right sub frequencies, there's something about the overall sound that teeters on the cusp of tweeness. Oddly though, that suits the tone of the song down to a…. er, T, and the more you expose yourself to the track, the more you'll find yourself thankful that if nothing else, after all these years Roots Manuva is keeping up with the times and hanging out with people who can inject something fresh into his music."

2008 collaboration between Emeralds and Aaron Dilloway (Wolf Eyes et al) that takes off on endless ripples of higher-minded synth float ala J D Emmanuel before exploding into Terry Riley-esque arabesques and flashing electronic afterimages, all usurped and given a serrated sandpaper edge by Dilloway. A dream collaboration, perfectly realised. Highly recommended.

No llevo muchas escuchas pero por ahora me está pareciendo un muy buen disco, los juegos de voces y el wall of sound pop de lo mejor, eso sí las canciones se han alargado y enrevesado en comparación con sus EPs. Curiosa la mezcla de duraciones prog con texturas de pop.

David Vandervelde dropped out of the sky in early 2007 with the well-received indie classic The Moonstation House Band. That album more than lived up to its title's potential, providing a healthy slab of cosmic, primal rock boogie. While this debut was the product of Vandervelde being isolated in the studio, being allowed to follow his every musical whim, Waiting For The Sunrise is a product of a new sort of isolation. After relocating from Chicago to Brooklyn, Vandervelde struggled to find his place in the new musical community. This seclusion led to most of the album being composed in his apartment on an acoustic guitar.
