Lo pedí yo, gracias! aunque estoy haciendome un poco la idea de cómo y dónde buscar estas filtraciones y ya lo había encontrado

No llevo muchas escuchas pero por ahora me está pareciendo un muy buen disco, los juegos de voces y el wall of sound pop de lo mejor, eso sí las canciones se han alargado y enrevesado en comparación con sus EPs. Curiosa la mezcla de duraciones prog con texturas de pop.

David Vandervelde dropped out of the sky in early 2007 with the well-received indie classic The Moonstation House Band. That album more than lived up to its title's potential, providing a healthy slab of cosmic, primal rock boogie. While this debut was the product of Vandervelde being isolated in the studio, being allowed to follow his every musical whim, Waiting For The Sunrise is a product of a new sort of isolation. After relocating from Chicago to Brooklyn, Vandervelde struggled to find his place in the new musical community. This seclusion led to most of the album being composed in his apartment on an acoustic guitar.

sips el mismo, lo que pasa es que se ha editado en junio de este año xo se filtró hace mucho creo que siendo aún 2007… supongo que x eso la confusión en algunos blogs

De todas formas tiene un par de bonus tracks, entre ellos I Love the Unknown (la misma versión de Clem Snide, eso sí)

He first came to renown as the leader of Unicorns, a band that, with slightly reworked membership, is now known as Islands. He also occasionally trots out the more hip-hop influenced side project Th' Corn Gangg. Human Highway is a new Thornburn venture that also features Jim Guthrie, a singer-songwriter who has toured with Islands. Moody Motorcycle was recorded quickly in Guthrie's house in Toronto. The music and harmonies the duo produced are a throwback to classic pop twosomes like the Everly Brothers.
