en mi humildísima opinión ha de empezar uno primero por Bedhead..
es una opción.
otra es empezar por the new year, que te encanten, y pasar entonces a bedhead y tener una esperiencia orgiástica.

Tahiti 80 got their start in the mid-90’s somewhere between Rouen and Paris, drawing their name from a souvenir T-shirt slogan. After a few teeth-cutting EP’s they released Puzzle in 1999, followed by Wallpaper for the Soul in 2002 and Fosbury in 2005. Their latest effort, Activity Center,shows them going back to the roots of classic pop songwriting with a rougher sound.

Mark McGuire (Emeralds) - Let Us Be The Way We Were CD-R

Very limited CD-R release by Mark, who is a member of Emeralds. One long track, description from Volcanic Tongue, who had this disc for about 10 seconds:
Solo guitar and tapes from Mark McGuire of Emeralds in a heavy minimalist proto-Europe Endless/Kraftwerk style, with delayed arpeggio guitar chopped into melancholy metronomic waves that provide a beautiful backwards transport. This is a very affecting release and the way Mark combines odd found tapes of confused conversations and melancholy reminiscence is extremely poignant. Some of the guitar playing reflects on such classy F/X inflected moments as Cul De Sac’s “Doldrums” but there’s also a weird, UK folk aspect that would join the dots between Flying Saucer Attack and Nick Drake. Either way, this is a powerful, evocative release and one of the best solo shots from the Emeralds camp to date. Edition of only 50 copies in plastic cases with full-colour art and already sold out at source. Highly recommended.

As some of you may know, my new album Home was released on CD and digital formats yesterday in North America by Hush Records, with European release to come in mid October on Bella Union, as well as a limited edition vinyl on Type Records.
To celebrate the release of this album I’ve made a SPECIAL PAGE for it, where you can stream six of the songs (which is eight in total if you count the two on this page, which is almost the entire album!), and you can read a little bit more about it.
