    he visto que a mucha gente le pasa como a mi que apenas se baja cosas por desconocimiento.

    por ello propongo crear un hilo, Top filtraciones o similar, donde quien quiera pueda votar sus filtraciones favoritas del mes, por ejemplo. mucha gente ya lo hace por aquí, pero así en un hilo quedaría bien ordenadito y los que no lo bajamos todo veríamos más claro qué es lo que gusta, lo que no, a quien y a cuantos. algo similar al Más grandes que la vida pero algo más ordenado, rollo:

    Lo iba a abrir yo, pero ni soy filtrador (salvo en contadísimas ocasiones) ni me bajo tanto como para tener un criterio formado de entre el amplio abanico, esto es, de 8 que me bajo puedo seleccionar 4, pero estarían lejos de ser una selección de las decenas de discos filtrados. así que si alguien se anima, ya sabe.

    Moutbreather "Thank You For Your Patience" (Kiss of Death, 2008)

    otro grupo que comparan con los incomparables black flag y que, sorpresa, no se parece mucho. cuando leí la descripción no daba dos duros por ellos, pero la cosa me ha acabado enganchando bastante. suena honesto, directo e intenso, exactamente lo que uno se espera encontrar de un grupo de Richmond, VA.

    The Gutter Twins - Adorata Ep

    Adorata is the new iTunes exclusive EP from The Gutter Twins (Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan).

    On this 8-track EP, the Twins stick pretty close to the gloomy blues rock that they established with their full-length, Saturnalia, earlier this year. There’s one original Twins composition, the mellow “Belles”, and a series of covers of songs by the likes of Jose Gonzalez, Scott Walker, Primal Scream, and Vetiver.

    With the exception of “Down The Line”, a rocking wailing cover of Jose Gonzalez, the songs use blues riffs and string arrangements to form dark, gothic atmospheres. The results are beautifully wrenching songs.

    All in all, Adorata, is far stronger than one would expect from an EP that comes so closely on the heels of a record.
