http://www.mediafire.com/?nbmdmxfueen"Massive new limited edition LP on NNCK’s new imprint documenting a series of recordings from this ambitious American/European big band that unites Dave Nuss of The No-Neck Blues Band with Spencer Clark and James Ferraro of The Skaters alongside Jan Anderzen of Kemialliset Ystavat, Jonna from Kuupuu, Stellar Om Source, Mik Quantius from Embryo and Tiitus Petajaniemi and Jari Koho of Uton/Keijo. The whole entourage toured through Europe in the spring of 2007 and this LP collects the best of the jams. Three long tracks and one fragment, including two pieces recorded at VPRO Radio. The sound takes off from the kind of free goof blueprint of The Godz, with a lots of percussion and odd rhythmic dunting while The Skaters work lush keyboard parts and a wall of ululating vocal drone deep into the backdrop. Quantius supplies vocals that are somewhere between Don Van Vliet and Alan Bishop and the whole thing proceeds into this kind of weird ethno-zone where fragmented world rhythms and sounds are twisted to dark, psychotropic ends. But the real gravy is the side long fourth track, the most convincing update of the monochord bass/drum confusion of Skip Spence’s “Grey/Afro” ever improvised in real time, combining sublime vocal highs with a hypnotic bottom end."

Así desde el recuerdo yo diría que el peor fue 'Música para enfermos'. Estos dos últimos tienen un concepto diferente cada uno bastante bien conducido.

A mi el de Toteking tambien me ha gustado mucho y mira que no he escuchado nada suyo aunque la gente me lo comentaba. Le tendre que dar una oportunidad al anterior disco.

Además estaba enteramente producido por Hozone (si no recuerdo mal) y se notaba esa conexión productor-mc del "Tu Madre Es Una Foca". Era un bonito homenaje al background musical del Tote.

sí, muy grande, he dicho esas dos pero podría haber dicho también "Ni de ellos ni de ellas" o "El primer día del resto de tu vida", cualquiera, la verdad
en este nuevo, se ha hecho muy grande, se agradece que al tío le quede espacio para la lucidez y para las rimas más retorcidas si cabe y esas producciones es que son flow del güeno
me ha encantado esa de: "el óscar de Bardem, los Coen con dos huevos, a 'Caótica Ana' y al Medem que les den fuego"

Todas menos dos: "Bum! Yo soy el Toterreno" producida por Neo (que tiene un par de maquetas muy chulas, una junto a Peter Notrh y otra él solo produciendo y rapeando) y "Progres" producidad por Nerko, el productor de El gremio. ¿os he hablado del single de El Gremio en Galleta? (no hace falta que ponga emoticón)

Following the release of their doom-ish jamm under the “Mt Fuji Doomjazz Corporation” moniker , The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble (as usual featuring and led by Mr Bong-Ra) come back with both a sequel to their debut album on Planet Mu and their forthcoming second one to come in 2009 on Ad Noiseam with an extended, 8 track EP showcasing the huge step forward taken bay this full fledged band and their delicate, melancholic and deep blend of post-rocky, post-jazzy, post-doom material. The “Mutation EP” will be released at the very end of 2008.

Silver Moon, seem to travel through the lands, constantly changing genres as well as a feel for location. I'm thinking smooth jazz mixed with a Brazilian vibe mixed with Tortoise mixed with Dead Can Dance and a hint of Fela Cuti (maybe with a little bit of Helios too). Everyone should check this out. Unfortunately, this is only a giant mp3, which I think is what Calm intended. Either way, if you have an hour and need background music that will leave you perplexed, give this a taste.
