habla de la muerte y todo lo que rodea el concepto, de como afrontarla, etc etc lo que musicalmente no suena tan depresivo, tampoco es que sea alegre, pero con la promo se han pasado… de todos modos un discazo!!! hay que darle un par de escuchas a lo mejor a la primera no termina de atrapar, pero si que ya ves que hay algo y que quieres más de eso... hempror, grr y gente que le guste Jesu, Alcest, Nadja, Xasthur, Shoegazing... que se lo baje YA! :lol:

Amor eterno, Harry! Yo todavía sigo esperando que aparezcan en la siguiente tanda de confirmaciones del PS. El single, eso sí, gira mucho hacia los últimos Modest Mouse, veremos si el resto del disco mantiene el nivel del primero.

En una primera escucha, parece que aguanta el nivel del primero (aunque bueno, es sólo una primera escucha, ya se sabe como van estas cosas…). Eso sí, 'Open Book' huele a hitazo a kilómetros.

No matter who you are, no matter what kind of lifestyle you lead, boy have I got news for YOU: The oft-rumored "metal" Mount Eerie EP is finally seeing release! On May 27, P.W. Elverum & Sun will be releasing Black Wooden Ceiling Opening. Recored in late 2006 with Jason Anderson (that one dude at the K Records show) and Kjetil Jenssen (drummer of The Spectacle), the white vinyl 10-inch features six Mount Eerie songs reinterpreted in a slightly-louder-than-past-Mount Eerie/Microphones-recordings way. It’s not really metal and not necessarily hardcore, but it is, has been, and always will be Phil Elverum.

The Black Wooden Ceiling Opening EP comes with a 21"x21" poster (double-sided!), printed on recycled stock. A bonus 10-track "live bootleg" CD comes included with the release.
