Fast forward to two years later, Microfilm is on the verge of releasing their second full length album (The Album drops Nov 11). The blog-o-sphere has taken increasing notice of the band due to their indie crossover covers of both Sufjan Stevens and The Magnetic Fields. Their EP "Teenage Symphonies" is on sale now and there is an excellent music video for that catchy tune. The main jump forward for the band that got it's start in Chicago is that this time around the songs feel more fully formed instead of a DJ mix. The melodies soar, the vocals slide in and out like a vacuum tube at the bank. The minimalist elements are still there, but it's clear that the band has listened to a fair share of indie melodies and owes a bit to Jimmy Tamborello of the Postal Service for their most shining moment "Teenage Symphonies".

They’ve made four new recordings which are now available to buy on the new ‘Gentleman’s Pact’ tour EP. It can be find both on CD and on vinyl, but it’s only on sale at Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band shows. The EP will be limited to 1000 physical copies.

primero agradecerte por lo lo de telepathe, vienen por aquí en breve y quería ver como sonaban, el disco así de primeras me ha molado bastante, está guai lo de las niñas estas, pero lo de que eres mi ídolo es por tu comentario "Ya solo por la primera canción merece la pena descargarlo", es el único tema del disco que no me dice nada, jajajajajajjajaj

Hay que joderse con el trinchete, me acabas de animar un poco la tarde, jejeje.
A mi el primer tema es el que más me gusta por eso lo decía, pero en conjunto el disco se mantiene bastante bien. Pero bueno ya se sabe que los drones dejan un poco fritas las neuronas.
