Puta madre, alguien lo ha escuchado ya?

Ayer vi a Legowelt haciendo un directo en BeCool, ya lo había visto haciendo live con la gira del Paranormal y fue muy guapo pero lo de ayer no se puede explicar con palabras. Los que tuvimos la suerte de poder verlo ayer nos llevamos un recuerdo para toda la vida. No diré que es el mejor live de electrónica que he visto pq no tengo ganas de discutir con nadie pero de verdad que lo de ayer fue unas cosas más grandes que he visto en muchos años. Quien tenga la oportunidad de ver a Legowelt que no lo piense dos veces, no se arrepentirá.

Guilen no es por nada pero yo he visto a Legowelt en el Nitsa y hace muchos años, fue en una las noches IMPERDIBLE con los showcase de Bunker & Invasion Planete, con un cartelazo de la parra con Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, TLR (mr Clavio), Le Syndicat Electronique, Rollinka… eso si había poca gente, son fiestas más enfocadas a club y no a una sala tan grande como el Nitsa.

Volviendo a lo de Guilen, la cosa va por modas. En los foros de clubbingspain ya estoy acostumbrado a leer cosas tipo "Jimpster otra vez, paso", "Solomun, vaya novedad…" y así. La sobreexposición es lo que tiene, que en algunos provoca rechazo.
Yo aún recuerdo cuando el Low cogía cada pocos meses a Apparat, y yo tan feliz.

This is just so good - fans of early/woozy Hype Williams take note A little-known duo operating out of Lisbon, Yong Yong are a welcome addition to the hazy tape-music scene, and this debut full-length makes a great case for their clunky lo-fi drawl. Comparisons to London weirdos Hype Williams will no doubt come thick and fast, but Yong Yong’s sound is somehow more worldly, and dare we say it even more far spannered than Blunt and Copeland’s abstract take on bass music. The fact that Yong Yong are able to bounce from the low slung beats and jarring autotuned vocals of ‘Spray’ one minute to the minimalist, cavernous darkwave electronics of ‘Track 3’ is a testament to the duo’s skill and also their resolve. ‘Love’ isn’t a short record, but in its hour-long duration it never fails to capture the imagination, pulling us through dusty, corroded clouds of house, drone, noise, sludgy rap and f*ck knows what else without a care in the world, never getting wrong-footed by its own breadth of ideas. Like a dangerous collision between near-forgotten Fonal prodigies Paavoharju and the distorted synth-led stylings of 1991, Yong Yong have proved you don’t need all the fixins to emerge with a record that frankly we just don't want to stop listening to.
