Aun y gustandome mucho Rustie, y gustandome esto nuevo, se me hace repetitivo. Esperaba un poco de evolución. Es otra vez lo mismo, exactamente igual. Subidón, bombo gordo y palante.

Completamente de acuerdo con Emeruack. Es que ni siquiera suena a Rustie. Cuando apareció todavía no estaba de moda este sonido y se le veía un estilo más personal. Ahora incluso se ma mimetizado con la peña que le copia. No sé si me explico

Bueno, en todo caso serán los demás los que han mimetizado con el no? a mi me parece que su sonido característico y personal lo sigue teniendo, tampoco tiene la culpa el chaval de que le copien viendo que tiene éxito.

Aquí estoy un poco con FUN, y es que Rustie, en su evolución, sí que ha marcado unas pautas que el último single no hace más que acentuar.

Highly recommended if you're into Powell, Container, Kangding Ray, Nate Young James Donadio's Prostitutes racket lands a killer vinyl follow-up to last year's much-coveted 'Psychedelic Black' LP and recent split tape with Basic House for Opal Tapes. Clocking in to the same working headspace as Powell's ascetic industrialisms, the grubby churn of Container, or Nate Young's oily modular globs, he's forged eight throbbing, jagged and visceral machine constructs reformulating techno templates to an oil-smudged and vintage sounding blueprint. Lodged half way between the 'floor and the parlour's waiting room, 'Crushed Interior' can be dance music, or salacious backing tracks - whatever you want it be, baby. If you're in the mood to move there's primal hip oscillations on 'Coming Down Here With Human Needs' and bone-rattling industrial polyrhythms on the pummelling 'Dial Tone Degradation', whereas the drugged ambience of 'Spiders In My Eyes' and the slow-sucking vortex of 'Make A Hole, Look Out' will satisfy darker tastes, and you don't even have to pay extra. Your acquaintance is highly recommended.

El caso es que excepto por la subida de pitch para el subidón, creo que la composición es impecable, con esa mezcla de ritmos ternarios y binarios tan del dubstep, pero creo que funcionaría mejor si hiciera menos efectos especiales.

Brand new 4-track EP from Pye Corner Audio, individually numbered edition, limited copies! The Head Technician cruises up with his first 12" maxi single, presented on our occasional Boomkat Editions series. Since Type's reissue of his 'Black Mill Tapes' last year, PCA has had praise coming from all angles: whether it's for his slick-but-sleazy, Carl Craigian lustre, the BoC-like melodic hooks, or his beautifully full bodied analogue production; he's really hit a collective soft spot dead on. We were keen to hear him attempt something slightly more club-wise, and, et voila, we now have 'Superstitious Century'. Opener 'Vorticism' is a real peach, steeped in nostalgia for early '90s UK house with the rosy-cheeked, wide-eyed essence of Smokebelch and classic AFX (it almost sounds like something off the first Analogue Bubblebath EP) distilled to a spine-tingling brew, and neatly contrasting with the subtle, slo-mo Balearic build of 'Zero Centre' to complete the A-side. Turn her over for the extended and seductively oily, oriental chug of 'Wasted Evolution', which has become a bit of an anthem at our monthly Haxan gatherings, and there's the blissed out arpeggios of 'End of all Eras' to bring us safely in to port, like some lost outtake off Boards of Canada's 'Music Has The Right…'
