Pycho, se que corre todo el directo del Sónar a buena calidad por interne, no es lo mismo, pero… bufff como petaba en el Hall, traed tapones.

sabiendo que Mouse on mars se pasan por Bilbao (2 de oct.) me he hecho con el Idiology, que con pocas escuchas ya me parece un discazo.
algún otro pepinón recomendable de esta gente? -
el disco clásico de mouse on mars es el "vulvuland", rollo noventero en plan orbital, autechre época "incunabula", the orb.. muy muy guapo.

al final era arriba en la sala grande, nosotros a las 330 nos cansamos de esperar a que salieran y nos fuimos. ayer fue un dia largo, con escalas en el forum y la 2. otra vez será.
(estoy escuchando el mix de andrew weatherall en FACT y está guapo, todo temas de rock)

la verdad es que me jode que cante, pero parece algo mejor que lo último que había hecho con los 2 espadachines…
y los 10 primeros segundos me han recordado a los sabres of paradise -
no sé el disco este en el que canta (ya dirás), pero el mix este está realmente bien, en serio. no es nada electrónico.

otra cosilla: conoceis al supergrupo este que se hacen llamar Risil? yo no los conocía y el disco está muy guapo, os dejo algo de info y un enlace:
Risil is a supergroup and a half, featuring Prefuse 73 (aka Guillermo Herren), Zach Hill (hella), Tyondai Braxton (Battles), John McEntire (Tortoise), Alejandra Deheza (School Of Seven Bells) and Eva Puyuelo Muns (Savath & Savalas). Apparently, the line-up extends beyond this starry assemblage however, and further volumes in the Risil saga shall involve different sets of players. There's plenty to be getting on with here though: fusing in-depth electronic wizardry with the musicianship of artists like Chicago legend McEntire and Hella drummer Zach Hill makes for quite a combo, and although the music here is often freeform and challenging, pieces like 'Better Run' - featuring electronically warped choral layers and deep, bristling production layers - inevitably draw you into their realm of digital psychedelia. There are plenty of highlights: there's the elegiac tonal sculpting and vocal harmonising of 'There Has To Be', the Fennesz-like 'Open Rendering' is exquisite, and the sheer quality of electroacoustic sound processing on 'Oxygen Path' would be enough to win over most audiences, but throw into the bargain an outbreak of explosive polyrhythmic drumming and Risil are really onto a winner.-boomkat
