Hay que recuperar a Endless Boogie, que sacó su disco el año pasado (suerte de Captain Beefheart progresivo con temas de 10-12 minutos) y no ha pisado la península. Y Quasi, solo de leer que Janet Weiss está en el meollo, ya apetecen. A ver si puedo pasarme por su myspace y escuchar de qué va la cosa.

We are excited to announce that over the course of the 10 Years of ATP weekend we will be presenting "Crispin Hellion Glover's Big Slide Show part 1” and "Crispin Hellion Glover's Big Slide Show part 2” in the cinema; in which Crispin Hellion Glover performs a one hour dramatic narration of eight different books that are profusely illustrated. "Crispin Hellion Glover's Big Slide Show part 1” will be performed before his film part 1 of the IT trilogy "What is it?" then a Q&A and a book signing. "Crispin Hellion Glover's Big Slide Show part 2” will be performed before part 2 of the IT trilogy "It is fine! EVERYTHING IS FINE" then a Q&A and a book signing.

Hip Hop Photo Legend RICKY POWELL'S WORLD FAMOUS SLIDE SHOW
Few cultural documenters can hold a candle to legendary photographer Ricky Powell. Commonly referred to as the Fourth Beastie Boy for his exploits following the fabled group, he has taken a camera where few have ventured and procured some of the most stunning and rare imagery ever seen from hip-hop groups to artists and celebrities. Ricky Powell & His World Famous Slide Show is a personally curated photographic slide show of his career.In other news, rather than a normal live show, for his appearance at the festival EDAN will be performing an extended DJ set.
Remember that Festival Tour Bus are providing coach travel for reasonable prices from a number of locations to both of our Christmas festivals, book now before it's too late!

jajaja ya me extrañaba a mi lo de Electrelane, lástima
me ha encantado el "When The Going Gets Dark" de Quasi! parece el disco que habrían sacado los Beatles de no haberse ido de viaje a la Índia y haberse enamorado de los Stooges, con esas melodías sin sacrificar el sonido garajero…a ver si los traen al Primavera y los solapan con Pavement

Y a mi lo de American Analog Set, pero hay en esa lista un montón de grupos con pintas de repetir.
Del de Pavement, con los que estoy muy enganchado son los Endless Boogie, especialmente sus volúmenes 1 y 2. Ya he puesto velas para que los traigan.

anda, no sabía que Endless Boogie tenía más discos, además de "Focus Level" (como tiene el myspace tan dejado de la mano de dios)
El ATP de Pavement es de traca, por ahora. Estoy escuchando a Enablers, y tienen temas que me gustan bastante (por ejemplo, "Pauly's days in cinema" sí; "Sudden inspection", no)

Son grabados de vinilo porque no hay otra cosa. Atento a los 24 minutos de morning line dirt, aunque los 6 temas rayan a gran nivel.

To continue our year-long celebrations of Ten Years of ATP we are thrilled to announce that All Tomorrow's Parties will return to Kutsher's Country Club, Monticello for it's third ATP New York festival over Labor Day weekend, running from Friday 3rd September – Sunday 5th September. Weekend and Day Tickets are available, with a Layaway Ticket option available.
Tickets are available from today on pre-sale via ATP, and will go on general sale this coming Wednesday from ticketsellers via www.atpfestival.com
We are incredibly excited to announce the start of our line-up...
