NEW ADDITION TO FANS SIDE OF LINEUP! NEW CHART!

Okay then time for another chart, and another update on how the offers are going. We're pleased to be able to announce that:

FUTURE OF THE LEFT

have now confirmed for your side of the lineup. Unfortunately, and we doubt that many people will be that surprised by this, Fugazi are unavailable.

Therefore we've sent an offer out to MGMT. Our offer to WOLF PARADE is also developing and we might have some news on that soon.

Time then for a new chart, and as before we'll be asking the top two bands to play, with the two bands after as backups if either of them can't play for whatever reason. Check it out below:

Jeffrey Lewis ahora es malo?

En el End of the Road el rato que lo vi me pareció que era un puto amo. De los nombres esos el único que me interesaría que rescatasen para el PS.

a mi tambien me pareció un crack… y en la sala donde lo ví todo el mundo creo que opinó lo mismo... oye, que sus teloneros eran The Wave Pictures y con estes no había ni la mitad de publico cuando empezaron...

a mi me gustaría ver que grupos saldrían si el primavera hiciera algo parecido... donde todo el mundo con abono puede votar...

jeffrey lewis está como loco por venir a España. Este verano, cuando lo ví en Irlanda, nos comentó a mí y a mi novia, que tenían muchísimas ganas de girar por aquí, pero que nadie se animaba a traerlos. El concierto fue cojonut, un altísimo porcentaje de temazos, un humor muy particular, y en vez de firmarme el cartel del concierto, se dedicaron a pintarrajearlo, pero a mí, y a todo el mundo, de manera diferente. Agradecidos al 300% vamos. (En el cartel hay un: TAKE US TO SPAIN!, asín de grande)

Exacto, Jeffrey Lewis es un crack, su 12 Crass Songs fue uno de esos discos que pasaron injustamente desapercibidos en 2007, su revisión de las canciones de Crass son geniales sin contar también el gran diseño del disco. Fue un gran descubrimiento cuando lo ví en el Paradiso por primera vez. Recuerdo especialmente la versión de Nirvana con comic explicativo y la del Eat Brains (?). Que lo traigan, joder.

Además, casualidades de la vida, el mismo día de Lewis también tocaban Parts & Labor que pese a la mierdecilla de concierto del PC'07 por problemas de sonido, allí dieron un buen concierto, tal como son en disco: ruidosos, directos, destellos épicos y punto y final, todo rápido. Mapmaker me pareció un buen disco y aún no he escuchado el último (no recuerdo que dicen de él en la entrevista de Rockdelux)…

Así que en general no me parecen tan malas las últimas adquisiciones de este ATP vs FANS teniendo en cuenta que no tengo ni puta idea de quien son los demás....

Creeping brain, creeping brain, creeping brain! Por lo hablar de su historia del punk en el lower east side de NY 1955-1975. Es uno de los individuos más creativos, inteligentes que pululan por la escena musical, siempre será un placer verlo.
